Janet, thank you for your wonderful post on May 3, regarding the coming of Elenin into our solar system. I am in total agreement with you. You have presented the facts that I, too, believe point to a rapture on or around Rosh Hashanah. I think this brown dwarf (Elenin) is a very dramatic indicator of the coming of the Day of the Lord. I am very interested in the three day blackout on earth with earthquakes, etc. I hadn’t heard before of anything specific of how long darkness will cover the earth. I just figured it would be like any other eclipse, lasting a few hours and moving on.
Janet, I am very interested in the link you listed, http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/sbdb.cgi?sstr=Elenin&orb=1, to see NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory orbital diagram that reveals Elenin traveling through our solar system. You said it shows a three day black out of the earth. I went there and I am unable to open it up, I don’t have the right software. Is there some other way you can show us this diagram?
Is there anything published that gives the size of Elenin? I’ve heard everything from “smaller than Jupiter” to “4 times the size of Jupiter”.
As a side note, a few weeks ago I asked the Lord if the rapture is going to be this year. Before I even got the words out of my mouth, I heard, loud and clear, “NIBIRU!” (That’s one of the several names for Elenin.) I personally believe the effects of this brown dwarf travelling so close to the earth are going to be catastrophic – biblical in scope -- considering all the major earthquakes we’ve already had when it was MUCH farther away. I believe that would be a likely time for the catching away of the church.
“Will not the day of the Lord be darkness, not light – pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?” Amos 5:20 (NIV)
Dr. Owuor had a vision in which he saw the whole earth plunged into darkness, he said it was “pitch dark” when the rapture occurs. (My apologies if I am not quoting him correctly.) It is written that Jesus will come “like a thief in the NIGHT”. That will be the only time it will be dark all the way around the whole world simultaneously.
