I wrote The Final Fulfillment of Pentecost in January of 2009 as a "brief" exegesis of Peter's sermon on Pentecost, intending to explain — briefly — why the upcoming Pentecost seemed to me to be the most likely time for the Rapture. After I published it on my site, I did a web search to see if anyone had reached similar conclusions. I found a lot of confirmation, and that is also how I wound up on the Five Doves Forum. Since then -- for the past 122 days (and I've been counting) -- feeding Doves (and lurkers) and being fed by them has become a part-time "ministry" and much of the information you Doves have either provided or pointed to has been linked to my original article. That made it bigger. A LOT bigger. In addition, I have expanded some areas for clarification and completeness.
The "apology" is that it now takes much longer to review the article, so if you send the link to your friends you are asking them to make a much more significant time commitment. This is regrettable, but it's unavoidable.I think it's worth it, however. If someone wants to get a clear idea, from both scripture and current events, of "the hope that is in you" concerning the likelihood of the rapture, I believe Final Fulfillment is as good a resource as any.I may never know how many people were changed or encouraged by my efforts (which were buttressed by yours), but I daresay my efforts pale in comparison to the work John Tng has done over the YEARS to maintain the Five Doves site. But at the end of the day this isn't about us: it's about Jesus Christ Who, for the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross. We are His joy; the righteousness of God in Christ. Let's persevere in Christ so that, whether my conclusions in Final Fulfillment are right or wrong, His joy may be full!Best,SteveP.S. If you visit the page (it's updated daily), please don't overlook "More Good Stuff" at the end. I sincerely hope to see you all next week, at which time I expect that updates will cease. I am currently getting about 130 page-views per day, and though I have not "set out a fleece" or anything, I would perceive a dramatic increase in that number as another indication of an imminent rapture. "Dramatic" would be 1,000 daily page-views or more. The Lord takes care of my SEO, so let's see what happens.
