"Antidote to Numbness and feelings of work on earth done"
Be encouraged
dear Doves, for whether He comes this weekend or another, yet He will
come. It may be this year, it may be next, yet do not let your
hearts be troubled, for surely He will come.
Do not
allow the devil and his cohorts rob you of your delight to do His
will. Recognize that spiritual numbness is a ploy straight from
the pit of hell. Submit to God, resist the devil and he WILL flee
from you. Remember that the only weapons he has are those of lies
and deception, and so he has as much influence over us as we allow
ourselves to be deceived.
So when Jesus says to
work while it is yet day for the night comes when no man shall work,
and then again, "Occupy till I come", He is saying to us that we are to
keep doing whatever it is that we are doing until such time as we can
no more continue.
That time is not today, for
though it is certainly dark around us - darker than it has ever been
before - time is not yet over for us.
My brothers and sisters, press through that feeling of numbness, and occupy till He comes, for He will surely come.
And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come."
"Surely I come quickly."
"Even so, come, Lord Jesus."
Maranatha,
Oriole
