I think you both have good arguments. Ron Reese had quite a stir here when he stated that the trib started last October with an Obama speech that he thought indicated the beginning of the trib.. Obviously if you believe the trib is 7 years and the trouble begins then we would have a problem with pre trib.
 
I have read this site for about 10 years and have heard many, many different interpretations. I think that the scripture is purposely vague, because it does say we will not know the date, and in spite of what many of you say, I still believe that.
 
So a peace agreement of 7 years? We already had a few. Perhaps something more insidious, harder to discern. Like maybe someone like Obama becoming a world superhero, much more then he is now. Some event that he saves the world from. I don't know.
So the question is. Is there a difference between the 7 years and the trib. Is the trib really only 3 1/2 years and the 3 1/2 years before that just a build up to establishing the NWO and the antichrist slowly taking position? I don't know.
But I do believe it will be like the days of Noah and after that disaster strikes.
 
In my own tiny morsel that God gave me. I believe we who are watching will see the AC become a big hero and we won't know who it is for sure until that happens. Then we check out and he gets very angry about that and takes it out on those left behind.
