Dear Doves,

 

Scripture tells us that it is 'OUR TURN'  to be 'FIRSTFRUITS'. The 'FIRST' of all 'FIRSTFRUITS' is Jesus Christ, and "then each in his 'OWN TURN' when 'HE COMES' for those who belong to Him". (ie. the rapture)

 

SCRIPTURAL PROOF:

 

James 1:18

"He chose to GIVE US BIRTH (ie. be born-again) through the Word of Truth, that 'WE MIGHT' BE A KIND OF 'FIRSTFRUITS' of all He created."

 

1 Corinthians 15:20

"But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, THE 'FIRSTFRUITS' OF THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP". (firstfruits of the dead in Christ)

 

1 Corinthians 15:23

"BUT EACH IN HIS OWN TURN: Christ, the 'firstfruits'; then, WHEN HE COMES, those who belong to Him." (we who belong to Him are next to be 'firstfruits' in our own turn)

 

Romans 8:23

"Not only so, but we ourselves, WHO HAVE THE 'FIRSTFRUITS' OF THE SPRIT, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, THE REDEMPTION OF OUR BODIES." (ie. we who have the 'firstfruits of the Spirit' wait for the rapture of our bodies)

 

 

We 'eagerly wait our own turn' to be 'firstfruits' to God so, Come Lord Jesus!
