Dear Susan,   I believe that Christ's answer to you would be the following verses:
 
 
 
Luke 21:36 says, "Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man."
 
Combine the above command with the following promise:
 
 
 
Matthew 7:7-8  (also read verses 9 -11)
 
Ask and it will be given to you:  seek and ye shall find, knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
 
 
Meditating and acting on these verses and similar ones will increase faith and eliminate fear.  ( I am preaching to myself as I am attempting to encourage you!)
