Same exact thing happened to my DH
only last week. His new boss waltzes into town & flexes his muscles..... to
SHOW "who's boss"!! Tore into my DH one way & then another..... over THEE
stupidest little thing!! {DH had merely asked him a question!!} And this
guy came at him like he had mad cow disease or something!!......
We fretted & fretted about it
all weekend..... we think FOR NOW things are going to work out (we hope &
pray!)..... but will be sooo glad to get to heaven, and put all this really hard
work (trying to please those who can't be pleased) behind us!!
My DH does not nec. witness at
work as you mentioned you do; but people KNOW he's a Christian -- and often turn
to him for counseling ~ or prayer requests. While at conferences with
co-workers, he quietly excuses himself in the evenings while the rest of the
crowd goes out drinking together. I'm sure that doesn't bode well for
him.
Have you noticed it seems that
people are showing their TRUE COLORS in this last
hour??!! Sure seems that way to me.
Not only has DH had this problem
at work, where he was literally concerned about his career being wiped out over
such a minute thing.....
but I've had friends who I thought
would be with me till the very end -- DESERT ME!!
Hurts like the dickens!! But
then I remember that Jesus was rejected by His friends, too! {How'd we all
like Judas as a friend?! ~ the one who kisses us is the one we may very well
have to watch out for!}
