All Children and Pets Will be Raptured - Let's All Rejoice!

Okay - I'm not being serious.

But seriously, this is probably more for Mark Copfer - And I have enjoyed Mark's various posts on Rapture Timing, such as:

http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/aug2007/markc830-2.htm

However, if there are Bible verses saying all children will be raptured, or that the age of accountability is 12, or anything at all about pets being raptured, I'd love to see them and be able to discuss them on Five Doves.

--------------------

I'm sure my son would love to see his pet goldfish, now deceased, in heaven but even the new earth will not have a sea so he may be literally a fish out of water.  But then, maybe only animals with "nostrils", depending on your interpretation of Genesis, have souls, which leaves out bacteria and I assume fish making it into heaven.  But just having a soul, which at least animals (with nostrils) as someone in support of pets going to heaven pointed out, appear to have souls, does not make one immortal.  True, it appears the soul outlives the body but it still appears to get cast into the lake of fire to die.  (The body dies first while the soul dies second).  I had not thought about animal souls being tossed in to the lake of fire before but why not?  I'm also not saying all animal souls get tossed into the lake of fire.  Boy, did this train of thought get out in the weeds fast.

The rest of this post is more in general and I actually wrote last week but never posted.

While some people believe it is alright to lie if it makes someone else feel better, (let's call them "white lies"), it doesn't make saying them not a sin.  I've heard that women are brought up to say nice things such as, "your dress sure looks pretty" when they actually are believing just the opposite.  While men can be more honest but so much more callous and uncaring.  So since God is love, there is no way He would let any child or any pet not get raptured and have to face 7 years of tribulation?  Would He?

Of course He would.  The God I personally know is a God of Justice!  And justice demands a separation of the sheep from the goats!

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:  Matthew 25:33-34

And quoting Bible verses having to do with salvation and sanctification and applying it to the Rapture is going way out on a limb.  If all 10 are virgins, (Christians), but only 5 are wise, salvation must not be the deciding factor.  I thought one needed to at least be watching?

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.  Revelation 3:3
