"A Close Look at Second Passover and How it will Unfold"

Second Passover is first found in Numbers 9.  Other than this passage, its only fulfillment is found in Hezekiah's Second Passover of 2 Chronicles 30.  Second Passover is about the rapture.  It is a feast directly speaking about the bride and groom.  Hezekiah's celebration tells us how the events of this rapture will unfold.

In Numbers 9, we see that in the year after the exodus, there are those defiled by the touching of the dead, therefore making them unclean by Mosaic laws and unable to participate in the Passover feast.  To not participate put them in danger of being put out of the congregation of Israel.  We note in verse 6 that they became defiled on Passover Preparation day.  They go to Moses and ask him what they should do.  He tells them to "Stand Still".  This is a requirement for any who would hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.  He is meek and mild.   It is a parallel to being separate from the world.  It is something the bride (those worthy) knows about, versus the spiritually carnal who are too involved in the noise and lusts of the world.

Moses takes the question concerning those defiled by the touching of the dead unto the Lord.  The Lord gives him answer.  The Lord established Second Passover which would fall exactly 30 days after First Passover, on the exact numerical dates of the second month as First Passover falls in the first month.  Interestingly, and importantly it would make all the events fall exactly two weekdays (days of the week) later.  Importantly as well, it is to be conducted with all the same ordinances as First Passover, i.e. a lamb was to be brought into the home on the 10th day of the Second Month, killed on the 14th, eaten that evening and this followed by 7 days of Unleavened Bread.  It is an exact duplicate save the day of the week on which events fall.

Note with a grin that the Lord adds something in verse 10 which Moses did not ask.  The Lord adds a man on a far journey.  Note as well, the lamb is brought into the home on the 10th day of the Second Month.  A little research in Genesis will reveal that is the day Noah began loading the ark.

When First Passover Preparation day is set as a day 4 Wednesday as it is ordained by God in day 4 of creation week, then we see that Second Passover falls exactly on the 4th Sabbath Omer of the Feast of Weeks.  This 4th day in creation week is stated to be about signs for days and years (markers in the calendar),  about dividing (separating and judgement), and most importantly about the right to rule.  It is a preeminent position in the figure of 7.   It is seen not only in creation week, but in the Menorah candle which lit the inner tabernacle and in the 7 candles before the throne.  The spring feasts are so arranged in respect to the 7 week Feast of Weeks.  First Passover, Second Passover and Pentecost follow a 1 - 4 - 7 pattern in the Feast of Weeks and are directly related to the 3 parts of the first fruits harvest.

Let's look at those defiled by the touching of the dead:  The last supper which Jesus shared with His disciples (the beginning of the New Testament Church) was a Passover meal.  It was eaten on a Passover Preparation day, the same day those under Moses became defiled.  During the conduct of the meal, Jesus transformed it into the Lord's Supper.  Jesus took bread and said, take, eat.  This is my body (implying dead).  He then took a cup of wine and gave it to them saying, drink ye this, all of it.  For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed (implying killed/dead) for many for the remission of sins.  This meal is a right of passage for every believer the same as baptism.  I do not know how a man can get more defiled by the touching of the dead than to partake of the eating of a dead body and drinking the blood.

Note that Jesus then says, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.  Jesus is clearly talking to those who will be the bride.  Jesus himself is awaiting that special day when He will have a drink (a toast) with His disciples and the others of the bridal party. It is a joyous day in which He has looked forward to.

As well, the bride participates in baptism.  It is a symbolic death to this world and the lust of this world.  She is raised a new creature in Christ.  But, this "raised a new creature" is but presently a work in progress.  It will be completed when she is "changed" immortal.   It is all related to this rapture event.

Those defiled by the touching of the dead directly points to the bride.

Now note that Jesus added the man on a far journey.  Moses did not ask about that.  Jesus added this for himself.  When He died on the cross, He earned the right to rule.  When He ascended, He went on a far journey to get Himself a kingdom.  The man on a far journey is directly points to the groom.

Keep in mind the bride will rule with Jesus as kings and priests.  From creation day 4, the moon is the bride and she is appointed the right to rule.

Everything about Second Passover is about the groom and bride and their right to rule.  It is set in the preeminent position of the 4 in the figure of 7.  The right to rule comes from the cross.  4 is the only number you can physically see the cross.  The day Jesus died on the cross was a Passover Preparation day and a day 4 Wednesday, the cardinal midpoint of the week.

The rapture is indeed a Passover event, when an angel of the Lord makes a Second Passover of the people.  I couldn't think of a more appropriate name for this feast.  God will again show that He sets a difference between Israel (his children) and Egypt (the world's children).  Note Exodus 11:7.  But, this time God will be a God of the living, not the dead, for all live unto Him.  Instead of killing the firstborn of Egypt, He will raise from the dead, the firstborn in Jesus Christ.  Note Mark 12: 26-27 and Luke 20: 35-38.  Note as well the sign of the bush.

How the events of Second Passover will unfold:  Hezekiah's Second Passover provides us the pattern for how events will unfold.  One should take the parable of the 10 virgins in Matthew 25:1-10 and overlay it with 2 Chronicles 30.  As well, take the rapture events as described in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-17 along with the necessary changing noted in 1 Corinthians 51-52 and overlay all these passages.  You will see a remarkable similarity and flow.  I will start by saying that you should note that in the parable of the 10 virgins, the wise and unwise have time to talk with each other all way up to the departure of the living wise.

Look at the 1 Thessalonians 4 passage.  It speaks of first the dead, then the living.  In verse 17 it mentions clouds plural.  These two clouds are two separate ascensions, first the dead, then the living.  They are separated by time far enough apart to be seen as separate clouds.  These clouds are saints dressed in white.  They are not vapor clouds.  Jesus ascended into a cloud of the many OT saints which were resurrected with him (Acts 1:9).  The two witnesses ascend into a cloud in Revelations 11:12.  This is the tribulation saints.  Jesus returns with clouds in Revelations 1:7.  These clouds are the immortal saints mentioned.  There is a part missing in the Thessalonians passage.  The dead are raised immortal and therefore immediately ascend.  It is necessary for the living to be "changed" to immortal.  This is found in 1 Corinthians 15:51-52.  This is the part that is done in the "twinkling of an eye".  This is not applicable to the other events. All 3 events are separated by time.  Neither ascension is in the twinkling of an eye.

What we see here are 3 events contained in this rapture of the bride.  This first is the midnight cry resurrection and ascension of the dead.  This is what alerts the virgins that the bridegroom comes.  They begin to trim their lamps.  One trims a wick to get the light to shine more efficiently and bright.  This is the same as the Feast of Unleavened Bread where one gets the leaven out of the home.  Leaven is sin and the home is the body, the temple of the Holy Ghost.  It is period of confessing and repenting and removing one's self from all sin.  It is an important week in the preparation of the living virgins to meet their groom.

Second Passover is followed by 7 days of Unleavened Bread.  In Hezekiah's example we see it is celebrated 7 days, then a vote is taken for joy to extend the feast another 7 days.  What we are seeing here is a period of 7 days after the resurrection/ascension of the dead, i.e. the midnight cry, in which the living virgins try to get right before the Lord in the feast of Unleavened Bread.  I suppose the churches will be crowded.  At the end of this 7 days, the living wise will be changed immortal.

In the parable of the 10 virgins, this is the point at which the unwise note a difference between themselves and the "changed" wise.  They ask questions and the wise tell them to go to those who buy and sell.  One might note right here Jesus' remarks to the lukewarm Laodicean church in Revelations 3:14-18.  He also mentions buying.  In Hezekiah's celebration, this is the point at which they take a vote for joy to extend the celebration 7 days.  The living wise are looking forward to the departure and the unwise are still hoping to be changed.  Scripture does not say that any of the unwise will be changed at this point, but then again, it does not say without exception that none will not be changed.  I do not know.  But, there is another 7 day period before the living wise actually ascend.

Hezekiah's celebration is said to be the most joyful in Jerusalem since Solomon's temple dedication feast.  That was a fall feast of tabernacles (1 Kings 8).  It too was 7 days and extended 7 days.  It ends by saying they all went home glad.  Hezekiah's ends with much more promise in that it ends with the priests and Levites having their prayers heard and their prayers come all way up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

There are many similarities between the current situation and Hezekiah's circumstances as well as between the wise and unwise virgins.  In 2 Chron 30:10, we see that Hezekiah sent messengers out to the people to tell them to come to the feast.  Many in Ephraim and Manasseh, even unto Zebulun mock the messengers and laugh them to scorn.  Sounds like today when we warn the people of the coming rapture.  Never the less, many did come to the feast, but verse 18 tells us some were clean and sanctified and some were not.  This is like the wise and unwise virgins.  In any event, the feast is held 7 days and voted to be extended 7 days and it seems a sure fit to the 3 parts of the rapture as portrayed in scripture.

Second Passover is placed perfectly in the Feast of Weeks on the 4th Sabbath Omer.  It's placement allows a just fit 7 + 7 day period from the time of the midnight cry to an ascenion day departure for the living wise bride.  It then allows a perfect 10 days until a Holy Spirit outpouring on the left behind on a Pentecost Sunday.  However, this only works to fulfill all the preordained and foreshadowed days of the week if First Passover is established on the proper days of the week with Passover Preparation day on a day 4 Wednesday.

If so, the midnight cry resurrection/ascension of the dead will be on a Friday evening/Saturday Sabbath day.  It will be both a regular 7th day Sabbath and a High Sabbath feast day.  God does command us to keep the Sabbath holy.   Following in the pattern, the ascension will be on a Thursday at even tide.  We note Isaac went out to meditate at even tide and saw Rebekah coming on the camels.  I believe this will be at twilight exactly after sunset and there will be a beautiful sunset display.  10 days later will then be a Pentecost Sunday.

There will likely be a great effort by Satan and his conspirators in our national governments to deceive people.  Expect a UFO/alien deception.  Communications may be disrupted, particularly the internet and rapture/Christian web sites.  One needs to know as much as you can about what to expect.  God says His people perish for a lack of knowledge.
