The Spring Feasts(their pattern)The Three Groups of the First Fruits(those of the first resurrection)I have written before concerning God's pattern found in the figure of 7. It is a 1 - 4 - 7 pattern in which the 1, 4 & 7 are prominent in the figure of 7, but the 4 stands preeminent as the center stage cardinal midpoint divider. But, the 4 is much more than just a midpoint divider. This pattern is found in creation week in Genesis chapter one and is found again prominently in the seals of Revelations. It is the same pattern as found in the golden candlestick of 7 candles called the Menorah which lit the inner tabernacle. It is the same as the pattern of 7 golden candlesticks found before the throne which represent the 7 churches. The prophetic significance of this pattern cannot be understated. I will show you how the spring feasts perfectly fit this pattern in relationship to the 7 week Feast of Weeks. As well, I will show you their relationship to the 3 groups of the First Resurrection, i.e. the First Fruits of the harvest.First, let's look at the 7 golden candles which stand before the throne of God. These are mentioned in Revelations 1: 12-13 & 20. They represent the churches. As well, there are 7 stars which are the angels of the 7 churches. Note in verse 13, that Jesus stands in the midst of the 7 golden candlesticks, i.e. He stands in the middle. Note also in verse 20 that God says there is a mystery (hidden truth) concerning the 7 stars and 7 golden candlesticks. The mystery of the 7 stars and 7 golden candlesticks before the throne can begin to be seen in the description of the Menorah candle found in Exodus 25: 31-40. Note in verse 40 that God told Moses while he was on the mount to make the Menorah candle after a pattern that He (God) had shown him. It is described in verse 32 as a single candlestick with 6 candles coming out of the sides of it. The middle candle (# 4, counting from either end) is not only the main center and dividing candle, it contained 4 almond shaped bowls which fed oil to all the lamps on the 7 sticks. The 6 candles coming out of the sides were connected by pairs to the center candle, each pair connecting at an almond shaped bowl. These bowls contained the oil which provided fuel to light all the candles. The middle and # 4 candle contained all the bowls of oil, i.e. Holy Spirit. This 7 candle Menorah not only provided light to the inner tabernacle, but a pattern of light as well.We see here the mention of both the 7 and 4. The house of Joseph was the one given the birthright and blessing and was prophesied to be powerful nations in the last days. He was to be a blessing, both material and spiritual, to the gentiles. When Joseph's descendents along with the lost tribes were captured by the Assyrians, God told them they would one day emerge with a new name and a new language. The English language was the new language God gave the house of Joseph and it is now the international language of the world. Let's simply number the English alphabet 1 through 26 and look at some of God's handiwork. God = 26. Jesus = 74, Joshua = 74, Lucifer = 74. Fruit = 74. John the apostle is the foreshadow bride. John the Baptist is identified in John 3:29 as part of the groom's bridal party. These two will be on each side of Jesus at the wedding. John = 47, a mirror reflected image. As we look at creation week, the first figure of 7, in the first chapter of Genesis, we will see the importance of the 4 in the figure of 7. The mystery will begin to be understood. In the first day of creation we see that there is darkness and God creates light. He says the light is good. He did not say that about darkness. Light by definition drives out darkness, i.e. you cannot have darkness where there is light. Yet, God did not drive away darkness, but divided darkness and light, letting each have half of the 24 hour day. God is setting the stage for how He will deal with the issue of darkness (sin) and the rebellion of Lucifer and the fallen angels. As well, God is setting a timetable. Note well that division is center stage in this plan. Division involves judgement. We can see that the darkness and light are divided by evening and morning. It is at this time of exchange that the sun (light) provides a stunning and beautiful display of a flaming fiery sunset and sunrise. It speaks to a future judgement and division.Next we go to the all important day 4 found in Genesis 1: 14-18. It is here that God makes the sun, moon and stars, i.e. the lights of the physical creation. God says they are to divide the day and the night. Note again, division would involve judgement. God also says they are for signs for days and years, i.e. markers in the calendar. It is at the point of day 4 that God is establishing His celestial calendar which sets the exact appointed day in which God will bring and end to darkness, sin and the rebellion. This end of time is noted in Genesis 10:6.God makes the sun as the greater light to rule the day and the moon as the lessor (reflected) light to rule the night. The sun represents the Son of God and the moon represents the bride. Note that darkness now has a competitor in his rule of the night. In fact, God appoints the moon (bride) as a ruler over darkness. I am not sure, but it would appear the stars represent the holy angels. They not only observe the contest on earth from afar, but are often sent by God to directly help man. The day 4 passage closes in verse 18 by reminding all creation that the sun, moon and stars are given the right to rule along with the power to divide (judge).Day 7 is a conclusion in this figure of 7 and draws to a close the battle with darkness, sin and rebellion. Day 7 not only ends the period, it is the final time of battle, judgement and division. At the end of day 7, perfection in the creation will again reign. The battle over the throne of God will be concluded. Lucifer and the fallen angels will fail in their attempt to take over the throne of God. Jesus will be anointed King and Lord, most high priest and most high judge. The bride will rule with Him as kings and priests. How important is the 4 in scripture? From creation week, day 4 was set preeminent as a marker in the calendar, i.e. signs for days and years, as a divider (separator) and judge and in the battle over right to rule. From creation week day 4 sprang the 40 and 400. Jesus came at the end of 4000 years, i.e. the end of the 4th day. Jesus was born of Judah, the 4th born of Jacob. Jesus was tested and tempted 40 days. Jesus died on a day 4 Wednesday. 4 days later He was resurrected on a Sunday, i.e. there was 3 days and nights in between. Jesus walked on the earth 40 days from His resurrection to ascension. From Passover Preparation to ascension is 44 days. John is the foreshadow bride and he was the 4th disciple chosen. We have already discussed in earlier letters the numerous day and year counts of 40 and even the 400. They are all central to the theme established in creation week day 4 and displayed in the Menorah and candles before the throne. Even the law of stripes found in Deuteronomy 25:3 says we may receive 40 though not 41. All these are directly related to bondage/affliction (stripes) and ultimately our redemption. It must be remembered though that at the point of our redemption is also judgement and division (separation). Joseph was promised a crown on his head because he lived separate (Genesis 49:26). Joseph was the 11th born of Jacob, a number of division. This division will take place during the 110th Congress of Ephraim. Joseph as well as Joshua, an Ephraimite, died at 110. The 110th Congress runs concurrent with bush # 2, second term. The bush is a central figure in scripture as a tare and directly associated with redemption from bondage in the Passover. Mark 12: 26-27 and Luke 20:35-38 tells us the bush is a sign of this resurrection. We can see the theme over signs in the calendar (markers of time), dividing and right to rule continuing in the seals of Revelations. The seals of Revelations will open upon the world 40 fully complete years after the sign of the Fig Tree, i.e. just shy of the 41st stripe (anniversary). The 7 year curse upon Ephraim will open after 400 fully complete years of blessing, i.e. around the 401st stripe (at or very close to the same time as the seals). The seals of Revelations cover a 10 year period (Rev 2:10) plus the difference between the spring and fall feasts. Jesus will return with His immortal saints in the fall of 2018. This 10.5 year period can be seen divided into 3 sets of 3.5 years by the number 4. Note the two witnesses lay dead for 3.5 days after they are killed (Rev 11:11). They are resurrected and ascend along with the tribulation saints on a Pentecost Sunday in the spring of 2015, exactly 7 years after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the left behind. This means they were killed on a Wednesday, day 4, afternoon, same as Jesus. That they lay dead 3.5 days is not only a hint about the death day of Jesus and its implication, but also about the 3 each time periods of the seals, i.e. times, time and half a time.Death and Hell (antichrist and false prophet, i.e. the two beasts) come to power at the end of the 4th seal, following the 4th horse (Rev 6:8). This will be in the fall of 2011. The white horse is not the antichrist coming to power by speaking peaceably. This is the Holy Spirit filled tribulation saints leading a world wide revival. This is why they are a multitude too great to number (Rev 7:9). The red (war), black (famine/rationing) and pale (pestilence/death) horses are the work of the 10 horns to set the stage that the nations of the world will relent their sovereignty to a global government. By the time they finish riding, the world will listen to an antichrist speaking peaceably. When they come to power, the two beasts will rule for a combined 7 years. When they come to power to begin the second set of 3.5 years, the two witnesses will also appear. Elijah will battle the antichrist as he did with King Ahab and Jezebel. The antichrist in large part establishes the mark of the beast because he is upset with the gospel revival results of the white horse.Satan is thrown out of heaven in Revelations 10. In Revelations 12:12 we see that as he comes down to earth he rules during the period of Woes. This happens at the end of the 4th trumpet. Satan embodies the false prophet and takes over as the second beast. It is he who kills the two witnesses and a little later makes fall 3 of the kings (horns). His period of rule is 1260 days (3.5 years) and is the period of the Woes, i.e. the 5th, 6th and 7th trumpets. We can readily see that the seals of Revelations are divided by the number 4. It is a number not only of division (judgement), but a number for signs for days and years and is central in the battle over right to rule. Now, for the really neat part. The above attributes are applicable to the groom and bride as well, in fact for all 3 parts of the first resurrection. All are leaders in the government of Jesus Christ during His 1000 year reign on earth. The spring feasts are so established, i.e. in a 1 - 4 - 7 pattern with the 4 directly related to the groom and bride. It is a preeminent position.Scripture tells us the spring feasts are Passover, Unleavened Bread and Pentecost. What is quietly left as almost invisible is the fact that there are two Passovers, a First and Second. Both are identical in the ordinances, therefore both contain the feast of Unleavened Bread. Job 11:6 tells us the Secrets (note plural) of Wisdom are double to that which is. It is a secret concerning both the Passover and the sign of the bush found in the house of Joseph (specifically Ephraim). The Feast of Weeks is described in Leviticus 23. Verse 10 and 17 tells us it is about first fruits. Note verse 39 describes the fall feasts and mentions gathering in of the fruit of the harvest. It does not mention first fruits. So it is. God established seed time and harvest such that the early ripening first fruits mature in the spring or early summer and the great general harvest concludes the growing season in the fall. The Feast of Weeks is a feast covering 7 weeks (a figure of 7) counted from Sabbath to Sabbath called counting the Omer. Leviticus 23 begins by mentioning the regular 7th day Sabbath, then mentioning Passover. It then gets into the Feast of Weeks. The very first of the first fruits is celebrated by bringing a he lamb without blemish of the first year unto the priest. He offers it for a sacrifice on the day after the Sabbath. This begins a Feast of Weeks Sabbath Day count. You then count 7 weeks of Sabbaths after the day the lamb is sacrificed. This is called counting the Omer. On the day after the 7th Sabbath (the 50th day), an offering is made by the priest unto the Lord of 2 loaves of fine meal (above the average) and oil (represents the Holy Spirit). Verse 17 says these are first fruits. It does not specify whether the loaves are made of rye, barley or wheat. They are just fine (above the average) meal.As time played out, the day the he lamb was offered (day after the Sabbath) would become the day that Jesus would be resurrected and presented before the Father as the first of the first fruits. The day after the 7th Sabbath would become Pentecost. Yet, here we see 2 loaves of fine meal and oil presented before the Lord. Just who do these loaves represent? The represent the work of the Holy Spirit, i.e. the bride and the tribulation saints. They enter into heaven at the 2 doors of Matthew 24:33. They are waived at this point in the feast because it concludes the work of the Holy Spirit.Let's look at the first fruit application of the spring feasts and their relation to the 7 week Feast of Weeks. The day the lamb was offered for sacrifice would become associated with First Passover. This actually starts the count in the Feast of Weeks. In Exodus 11 & 12, this was refined by God's instruction so that a lamb was brought into the home on the 10th day of the First month, then killed on the 14th day (Passover Preparation day). Jesus, the first of the first fruits was resurrected on a Sunday and he was presented before the Father. In any event, First Passover is associated with the beginning of the Feast of Weeks and Pentecost comes at the end of this 7 week period.Seeing the 4 in the 1 - 4 - 7 pattern of the spring feasts in relation to the 7 week Feast of Weeks is not possible until one takes note of Second Passover. This is found in Numbers 9. It is about those defiled by the touching of the dead and the Lord adds (not requested by Moses) the man on a far journey. In another letter, I will explain the relationship of these to the bride and groom. Second Passover is established by the Lord to fall on the exact same numerical days of the second month (Zif) as First Passover falls in the first month (Abib/Nissan). That means it is exactly 30 days later. Interestingly and importantly, it makes the events of Second Passover fall 2 weekdays (days of the week) later. Verse 12 tells us it is an exact duplicate, i.e. all the ordinances thereof. Like First Passover, it too has a feast of Unleavened Bread. Like First Passover, a lamb is brought into the home on the 10th day of the month and killed in the 14th. One must stop and take note at this point that Noah began loading the ark on the 10th day of the Second Month. It is here that a person should lay out the 54 day period from First Passover Preparation day (the 14th of Abib) to Pentecost (50 days from Resurrection to Pentecost). Note exactly where Ascension day falls (40 days inclusive from Resurrection, the 18th of Abib).Second Passover is exactly 30 days after First Passover. When First Passover Preparation day is set for a day 4 Wednesday as established and ordained by God in day 4 of creation week, then the actual Passover meal and Passover is on a day 5 Thursday as the next day begins at sundown. This makes Second Passover Preparation day on a Friday and the meal and actual midnight cry Passover on a Friday evening/Saturday Sabbath day. It falls at the exact cardinal midpoint of the Feast of Weeks on the 4th Sabbath Omer. Remember the attributes of the 4 in the figure of 7. It is about signs for days and years, it is about dividing (judgement/separating) and above all, it is about the right to rule. Go back to day 4 in creation week and note the right to rule of the sun and moon (Son and bride). It is critical to get the day of the week right. This is where man is making his mistakes in determining when First Passover should be and in establishing the first day of the year, Abib 1. There is something missing in the interpretation of Exodus 12:2, i.e. this is the first month of the year. God then mentions the importance of the 10th day and 14th day with respect to Passover. Nothing in our scripture tells us how to figure the 1st day of the 1st month. It seems to be left to the study of man's historical ways of figuring the beginning of the month and this would seem logically connected to the new moon. But, one cannot forget the significance and importance God put on the central piece of His celestial calendar. God made the solar and lunar calendars to not contain even weeks, yet He made the 7 day week and the days of the week preeminent above any other portion of the calendar. I cannot imagine celebrating Passover on any day of the week other than a Wednesday, day 4 evening. To do otherwise is to bring discredit to Jesus and His right to rule, as well as the bride's. There is something wrong with the way we figure Abib 1. We leave out an adjustment to the lunar calendar which would allow First Passover preparation day to fall where it rightfully belongs, on a Wednesday day 4.We trust the Pope to tell us when resurrection day is to be. We trust the Jewish religious leaders to tell us when Passover should be. Both pay no attention to the proper day of the week. Neither is concerned about Jesus' right to rule, nor His right to divide and judge. Neither would want the bride to know the correct signs for days and years. Both these groups of religious leaders have their own agenda concerning right to rule. I only add take heed. When a person sets the sacred calendar with First Passover preparation day falling on a day 4 Wednesday, then absolutely everything (all events) about the 50 day count of the Feast of Weeks not only falls on the proper numeric day, but it will also fall on the proper day of the week. This brings us to Ecclesiastes 1:9 in which God says, "The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be: and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." God is a God of order and He works in ordained and foreshadowed patterns. Jesus died on a Passover Preparation day, a day 4 Wednesday. He was Resurrected on a Sunday, 4 days after Passover Preparation. He ascended on a Thursday, 40 days after Resurrection (inclusive). 10 days later (see Gen 24:55), the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples on a Pentecost Sunday.Back to the 1 - 4 - 7 pattern in the Spring Feasts and Feast of Weeks. There are 3 groups to those of the first resurrection, i.e. the first fruits. The first of the first fruits was the he lamb and Jesus is associated with First Passover, the beginning of the Feast of Weeks. But, Jesus was not alone. Matthew 27: 52-53 tells us many (not all, but those worthy) OT saints also arose and were seen by many in Jerusalem. They are the cloud into which Jesus ascended in Acts 1:9. John 3:29 tells us these include John the Baptist and his joy on the occasion of the wedding is to be a part of the groom's bridal party, i.e. a friend of the groom. In Isaiah 28:25, these are the rye, the earliest of the spring crops. In Revelations 4:4 & 10-11, these are the 24 elders around the throne. They have on white raiment and on their heads are crowns of gold. Joseph was promised a crown on his head because he lived separate (Genesis 49:26).The bride along with the groom is associated with Second Passover which falls exactly on the 4th Sabbath Omer of the Feast of Weeks. The bride is those worthy, i.e. over comers. She attends the wedding of Revelations 19:7-8. Luke 21:36 tells us to pray always to be part of this group, to stand before the Son of Man (at the wedding) and to miss the coming hour of trial which comes upon the earth. She is seen around the throne prior to the opening of the seals of Revelations (Rev 5:9-10). She is redeemed by the blood. As well, her role is to be kings and priests with the Lord. She has a many colored coat makeup in that she is made up of every kindred, people, tongue and nation. Revelations 3:12 says she will be a pillar in the temple, i.e. chief in Jesus' government. Revelations 14:1-5 tells us her number is 144,000, symbolic of 12 X 12 amplified, a number of perfection in government. She is called a virgin and is called first fruits unto God and the lamb. See is redeemed from the earth. She follows the Lamb wherever He goes, i.e. she is the innermost and highest part of His government. In Revelations 21, her home is New Jerusalem. It is full of the number 12 and even 144. Take note that 1 + 4 + 7 = 12. In Isaiah 28:25, she is the barley, the next fruit to ripen after the rye.The last group of the first resurrection is the left behind tribulation saints. Revelations 6:9-11 tells us they will all die in the tribulation. Revelations 20: 4-6 tells us many are beheaded, but these are faithful in that they kept the faith and did not take the mark nor worship the beast. They are the last part of the first resurrection and do not have to fear the second death associated with the white throne judgment of the last day. These will serve as priests of God during Jesus 1000 year kingdom. They are described in Revelations 7: 9-15 as a multitude too great to number. Like the bride, they have the appearance of a many colored coat in that they are made up of every kindred, people, tongue and nation. These have come out of the tribulation and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the lamb. Out of the fires of the tribulation, these have been made worthy, i.e. pure gold/silver.The tribulation saints are associated with Pentecost and the last (7th) week of the Feast of Weeks. They begin with a Holy Spirit outpouring on the left behind 10 days after the ascension of the living bride. This will be a Pentecost Sunday outpouring just as it did on the disciples. It is foreshadowed in Genesis 24:55. Exactly 7 years later on a Pentecost Sunday in the spring of 2015, they will be resurrected and ascend with the two witnesses (Rev 11:12). They will attend the wedding supper (Rev 19:9). These are the wheat of Isaiah 28:15, the last of the spring, even early summer ripening fruit. The two loaves of Leviticus 23:17 are waived at Pentecost because both the bride and tribulation saints are associated with the Holy Spirit. They are His work. The work of the bride began on Pentecost Sunday, 10 days after Jesus ascended. The work of the tribulation saints will begin 10 days after the ascension of the bride. They are the white horse that rides. The reason the loaves are waived at Pentecost though is because this is the day the Holy Spirit will conclude His work, i.e. when the two witnesses and tribulation saints are resurrected and ascend. Like God in Genesis 2:2, the Holy Spirit will rest from all His work.First Passover is a celebration of Jesus' sacrificial death. This feast is in His honor along with the OT saints who preceded His coming. Second Passover is a feast honoring the groom and bride. The bride too has made sacrifice and carried her cross. She will rule with Jesus. Pentecost is a celebration of the Holy Spirit along the tribulation saints.
