at least a part of your earlier posting as when I came to what I posted it
was
familiar to me.
Yes, it's sickening about the meat and just one more reason to pray and
ask
God to cleanse and bless our food before we eat. That scripture really
comes in
handy .........
Mark chapter 16
[18] They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly
thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall
recover.
[19] So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he
was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
[20]
And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and
confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
We can receive this Word just as we receive all of the Word and apply it
to
ourselves and others so that if we do somehow take something deadly
into
our bodies, it will Not hurt us if we stand upon His Word.Deadly substances
can
be drank into our bodies thru out skin , thru inhalation, medication,
poisons
pujt in our foods, nuclear war etc .
I am afraid to eat a single thing without praying over it before as well as
all meds
etc. You know years ago a few people mistakenly thought this scripture
meant to
pick up snakes,etc. Not so. But, if we were accidentally bitten like Paul
was when he
was starting the fire, we can do what he did. He received protection from
God and
while those around thought he would surely die as the snake was poisonous,
he
just shook it off and continued. God did confirm His Word .
You know I am going to begin examining food I cook before I eat too.
