"Return Of Jesus Christ"

 

 
Just wanted to say I found  Five Doves about two years ago, and I am BLESSED DAILY because of all the OUTSTANDING articles !!! The one question I have is, when will we Christians actually know, when EVERY NATION has been preached THE UNCOMPROMISING WORD OF TRUTH AND SAVING POWER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ? Isn't this, THE ACTUAL MISSING LINK to the soon coming of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST ? Matthew 24:3,14 and Matthew 28:18-20 Plainly states this to be true ! Can THE RAPTURE happen before this OVERWHELMING TASK is ever accomplished ?  Any suggestions would WHOLEHEARTEDLY be WELCOMED !!!

This was the argument I used to hear when I was in the Assemblies of God church more than a decade ago, and they used to dampen  enthusiasm re: the return of Christ. 

 

The simple truth is that we will not have to  reach to the whole world,  for this will be fulfilled during the Tribulation by the

·       144000 Jewish evangelists

·       2 Witnesses

·       3 Angels preaching in the mid air, which no one can disregard.

 

So technically we can say that the Gospel would be reached to every soul before the Return of Christ, the Second Coming. Matthew 24, primarily is addressing the generation that would go THROUGH THE TRIBULATION.  It  is not for the church saints, before the Rapture. 

 

If we, as Christians,  reach to all the nations, then there would not be any need of the 144,000 Jewish evangelist mentioned in Rev 7.  These twelve tribes would preach to the whole world and not to mention the Two Witnesses (chapter 11) who would preach too. 

 

Then we are introduced to the Three Angels in ch 14.  Hence I guess we don’t have to worry about the Gospel reaching to every part of the globe, before Christ’s Second Coming.

 

The Three Angels – Rev 14: 6-12

 6Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. 7He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."

 8A second angel followed and said, "Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great, which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries."

 9A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name." 12This calls for patient endurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandments and remain faithful to Jesus.
