You’re right Jim, Yeshua did leave part of His body behind.  Just as God put the “first Adam” into a deep sleep (as if he were dead) and took one of his ribs  (strongs says “a side” to make a bride for Adam which was flesh of his flesh and bone of his bone.

God did the same for the “Second Adam”, He put Yeshua to death (a sleep) and took one of His sides (the Holy Spirit) and at Pentecost made a Bride for His Son that was flesh of His Flesh and Bone of His Bone.

How Wonderful is our GOD…!!!!!!
