Dear Doves,Do you ever wonder about the little curiosities that show up from time to time? Sometimes you may see something that, by itself, may be nothing, but then if a little thing pops up along with other little things you find yourself taking a closer look?Here are 2 little curiosities to look at while we wait for our coming King of Glory.The First is the recent death of 2 Moses'. Yes, there were two. One for the Gentile world, and one for the Jews. One died at the beginning of April, and one at the end. Both gentlemen were well known world figures, both were called "Moses" with love by an admiring public. Both were involved with an EXODUS, and as I said, both Exited this world in April. It's one of those little curiosities I couldn't help but notice. ;-)EXODUS means -- EX: out of + HODOS: way -- out of the way, Departure, Mass Departure, Flight, Escape, Leaving, etc.So 2 men, representing both Jews and Gentiles, and also representing Mass Departures, departed last April. Who were they?Charlton Heston, who is well remembered as Moses in the movie the 10 Commandments, and died on the Saturday night of April 5th. He was 84 years old.Yossi Harel, the legendary commander of illegal immigrations ships, one of which was named EXODUS, bringing 24,000 Jews into Israel. He died on April 26th, and that was the 7th day of Passover this year, the very day that the real Moses parted the Red Sea and lead the Jews to safety. Yossi was 90 years old.So, the Jews and the Gentiles have had their old time Exodus leaders Exit this world. Perhaps the 3rd group who consists of neither Jew nor Gentile, but are instead New Creatures, the Church of our Lord Jesus, will partake in their own Exodus from Egypt when their Leader Exits this world with them, His "Body," very soon?*************************************************The Second little curiosity popped up this week in Israel. The ISAIAH SCROLL is now on a rare public display for 2 months. For the PAST FORTY (40) YEARS, the 2,100 year old Isaiah Scroll was hidden, removed from display in 1967 and has been kept in a dark room, far from the public eye. In honor of Israel's 60th Anniversary, it has been "revived" and revealed once again for a short while for Israeli & world leaders to see and to take into their hearts.I find a few things interesting about this Isaiah Scroll. First of all, it has been in all the Israeli news the past couple of days, and President Bush had a Private viewing of it. Secondly, before it goes on display to the general Israeli public in its museum, it has been unveiled at the Peres President's Conference called "Facing Tomorrow" which is a very interesting Conference folks. This Conference is full of "new world order" planners, and every article I've been able to find on this Isaiah Scroll display mentions the famous verse of Isaiah 2:4 "And they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more." This scroll is also being displayed with a recently discovered Roman seal with a dove-like bird carrying an olive branch. Peace, peace and more peace. While all Christians desire world peace, we know it isn't going to happen without the 2nd coming of our Lord Jesus Messiah to reign on this earth.But while these folks may be getting all warm and fuzzy over Isaiah 2:4, there are two other sections of this Isaiah Scroll that they ought to take to heart first. Isaiah 53, and Isaiah 28.Is it a mere coincidence that this famous scroll was revealed before world dignitaries in Israel after being kept hidden away for the same 40 years as Jerusalem's countdown is wrapping up? That it was "kept dark and hidden" until NOW? Or could this be a warning that, even as they plan to divide Jerusalem and make peace in the Middle East (without the Prince of Peace) they are actually drawing closer to the signing of that dreaded "Covenant with Death?"Isaiah 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a Covenant with death, and with hell are we at Agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made LIES our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. 18 And your Covenant (also means Agreement in Hebrew) with death shall be disannulled, and your Agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.God bless you Doves.
