I was wondering this too! If the rapture happens in 2008, then the MID-point of the trib will be 2011-2012 and many people are pedicting the end of the world 2012, as stated by the Mayan calendar. Could what they are seeing actually be the MID-point of the tribulation when the AC goes into the temple, declares that he is God and breaks his covenant with Israel? Of course, we know, as Christians that the world won't end in 2012. However, it will be like the end of the world during the 2nd half of the great trib, it will be so horrible.
