I agree wholeheartedly with Hal Lindsey's assessment of UFOs being demonic. I have read several books about UFOs, people who have been abducted, etc. and there are so many evil manifestations that accompany these "sightings." For example, in many, many of the experiences of people who are abducted, they speak of unimaginable terror when being confronted with these creatures and a smell of sulfur. Many are left with wounds, injuries, mental illness and the inability to sleep due to terrifying nightmares and the fear of being a victim (again) of abduction. I have always believed that UFOs will somehow be connected to the great "lie" of deception that God will use (after the Rapture) to allow those who reject the TRUTH to believe a lie. And who didn't KNOW that it is already happening? We are already having many manifestations of "alien" visits. Perry Stone has a great video that he made called "The Apparitions of Mary," in which he shows amazing Biblical evidence as to why these apparitions are NOT the Mary of the Bible and how they are connected to the great deception of the end of the age. He believes that the final World Wide Religion will use this being calling itself "Mary" to bring together all those who are left behind. It is amazing how many similarities there are between islam and catholicism. Once the redeemed are gone in the rapture, the common reverence for "Mary" that the muslims and catholics have ---will bring together the islamic and catholic world, and this will end up pulling in all the Hindus, Buddhists, and other ism cults. After all, many of the apparitions of Mary are telling thousands that you can go through HER to get to Jesus or through her immaculate heart or through doing PENANCE. There are many Catholics who know Jesus as their savior and they even reject the works system of salvation set up by their church, yet they hesitate to leave. God warned in Revelation, if you are in a false system of salvation by works, you must COME OUT - or you will perish with them and partake of their judgements!

 

The muslims have no assurance of eternal life either, just ask them - they never know how many pilgrimages they have to make, or how many prayers they have to say to make them worthy!  Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Hare Krishna, Taoism -- none of them have assurance of eternal life either. I even saw a prophecy program about a week ago where the speaker was wondering if the "image" people are required to worship could be the Eucharist that is already bowed before and worshipped as God by nearly a billion people, or even an image of "Mary" that is appearing and deceiving millions into following a false gospel of works. 

 

Those who are left behind will merge against their common enemy - the Lord Jesus Christ, whom they see as "intolerant" of all other paths to heaven (except HIM of course!) Yes, Jesus truly is "Intolerant!" He insisted that the ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER was through HIM and that is what they all hate with a venom. They want to believe that man is the measure of all things and MAN can pull himself up by his own bootstraps without God!  And that there are MANY PATHS to God as long as you are SINCERE in what you are doing and you are living a good life, yada, yada...Well, God is going to give them a chance to do just that! He is going to turn the entire world over to the devil himself.
