Secondly, Lord yes, I'm tired! I think of it more as the fact that we live in such a harried, crowded, work like crazy, world these days (as in Daniel 12... "People shall run to and fro...") that we don't get a chance to really relax. I'm 55 years old, drive 3 hours/day, 100 miles/day commuting to/from work, so I'm away from home at LEAST 11 hours a day. And my husband's (he's also 55) work hours totally conflict with mine, so he doesn't really get to relax either. Couple that with the fact that people seldom get to take any sort of extended vacations any more (as an Executive Secretary to 6 people, I'm lucky to get 3 days off in a row, including weekends), everything is going sky high, and people have to do the jobs of 2 or 3 people, because companies can't afford to keep a large staff employed. But I'm here to tell you, I AM looking forward to eternal rest!
