100 Explosions on the Moon
NASA astronomers have been watching the Moon to see how often meteoroids crash into the lunar surface and they've just video-recorded their 100th explosion. This surprisingly bountiful data-set allows researchers to start drawing conclusions about when, where, and how often the Moon gets hit. [NOTE: Wouldn't this be interesting if this is how the moon "won't give its light"... what if it blew apart after getting hit by something... "before the great and terrible day of the Lord"??? Peggy]
