Good point about children when the flood hit! I don’t think it has anything to do with whether the parents are saved or not, so much as like Pastor Riley said in his recent email to a brother (see “Age of Accountability” on his page on my website)… each person matures (spiritually) at a different age and level… some as young as 4 or 5 years old, some not until after 12 years old, etc. Personally, I don’t ever remember a time when I DIDN’T believe, even before I was old enough to fully understand. Each person, and that includes children, are responsible for their OWN salvation once they are able to understand what their choices are, no matter whether their parents are Christians or not. Look at Madelaine Murray O’Hare, the biggest atheist of all time. Her children were, of course, raised to be atheists too. But when her son grew up, he became a born again, on fire, Christian.
