Franklin Morris, first published in 1864. This is an extremely valuable book
(840 pages) with sound information for anyone who wants to defend the
proposition that our Nation was founded as a Christian nation upon Christian

I used the original Google Books scanned version and
scanned it with optical character recognition software that makes it
searchable. The OCR software is not always perfect but it greatly improves the
usefulness of the text. I did not take the time to put in bookmarks for the
chapters. If you have Adobe Acrobat you can highlight portions to suit your
need, put in bookmarks and sticky notes. This is extremely useful for
discussions given the vast wealth of information. It is historically accurate
having been written not long after the time of the events recorded (less than
100 years from our Nationhood) not being subject to current political climate
wherein history is being rewritten.
