"to 1 Cor 10:31 re clarification"

Reva, you wrote:

When I wrote this letter yesterday, http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2008/1cor1031-515-1.htm

I was in a great hurry.

So indeed, I wanted to come back & clarify:   when I said I wasn't so sure about babies still in the womb being raptured -- I certainly did not mean those babies who belong to CHRISTIAN parents, but rather to the unsaved.  Terry James (of Rapture Ready) is absolutely sure they will go, too.

However, I see no biblical basis for that ~ and so, I cannot really call it one way or another.  As I said yesterday, I prefer to not form an opinion on some things unless the Bible specifially spells it out.

I do know without a doubt there WILL be babies on this earth during the trib:    Matt 24:19   But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!

Plus, with great sadness, this will happen:

Luke 23:29
For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’

Well, anyway, just wanted to CLARIFY!!    :)

With respect, I interpret the underlined quotes differently. I believe, based on these quotes, that all children will be raptured - right out of the wombs of pregnant women and right out of the arms of nursing mothers. These women will definitely experience “woe”. In contrast, those left behind Christian women, who have never had a child to lose, will most certainly be blessed.
