For those of us who believe the world is approaching its sixth thousandth year, the discovery of a human body that died 5300 years ago should make your hair stand on end. Certainly this was a close relative of Adam, and especially since this body has 57 strange markings from head to toe, 2 of these marks are crosses. This body was killed by a stone, an arrow. The body has a DNA type previously unknown that originated from the Middle East. Using most literal terms of interpretation, the body was cursed from the earth that had received the blood of Able, in other words not buried. The body was hidden from the face of God in that it was encased in ice for 5300 years. Archeologists also believe it to be the body of a vagabond who roamed the earth. But, what is most perplexing is that seven people closely involved with this body who were part of its discovery or research have died tragic or mysterious deaths relatively soon thereafter. This phenomenon is called the curse of the Ice man and you can find abundant information about this mystery on the web. Those who have died include the man who found the body, the man who brought the body off the mountain, and the head scientist in charge of its research. The body I am talking about is of course the Ice man or "Otzi" the oldest human body ever discovered, found in 1991. The term sign used in Geneses in regard to the mark of Cain is the same "Oth" used elsewhere in the bible to indicate evidence of God’s appearance or proof. I know this information will reap either ridicule or amazement, but facts are facts and the similarities are just astounding. In Genesis 4:15, when we analyze the Hebrew exactly as written, we find the following: “and the Lord said to him, to who would kill Cain, destruction will be seven times over, and God put a sign on Cain the Mark of God, unless they should find him.” What do we know about Cain? He was marked by God, God would use him for a sign, he was cursed from the Earth, he became a vagabond on the Earth, he said he would be hidden from the face of God, he would be avenged seven times, the books of Jubilee and Jasher say he was killed by a stone or an arrow. Now ask yourself, why is this information about the Mark of Cain in the Bible? Could it be that God is giving this last generation a sign?
