When we read in Matthew 25: 5.v. about the ten virgins, we read that they all becom tire when the Bridegroom delayed his comming, so they all " slumbered and slept."
But its no normal slumber, - they no longer feel sure, that Jesus He would come soon, and have started to listening to, and following the live in the world, than taking care of the actuel situation in faith, politic, economy, social and in nature.
 
But there still was a difference between the five wise and the five unwise, the difference between the five wise, and the five unwise was, - the wise were still open for signs in the nature, on Heaven and on Earth, and on the Holy Spirits wispering etc.   And they were not arrogant, but they still talked together, ask, and give response to each other, about the meaning of this and that in the scripture, and they listen to, and gave response to each others meaning, and dreams, - they still prayed for, listen to, and always were in dialog with each other, like those Malachi mention in chpt. 3: 16-18.v. they still were humble to our Great Lord and each others.    - Therefore the Lord still blessed them great, and the Holy Spirit let the OIL constant flow into their hearts and vessels. - and prepared them for the coming of the Lord, so they can stand before His eyes when he commes soon, and take them Home - John 14: 1-3.v.
 
The five unwise, also believed in that Jesus would come back - " one day," - but not now, and they would not talk about to prepare, and were not interested in any discussion about it. Like the Laodicea church, they used the time for selfish things, (we can do it by our self, with our doctrines and traditions) and they more and more loosing Oil.   Because of their compromize with the world, and the evil spirit of this time, they have got a great lack of faith in their life, and therefore they daily loose contact with the Holy Spirit, who are the " Divine Authorithy " in our time, the only one who can give us Oil in our live.

 

Lets open our hearts and mind, asking for help from, and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit, as Maria sat with the feet of Jesus, listening to his words, and obeyed. - Marana-tha, ybic, Jan Mikael - DK.

25:1 "Then the Kingdom of Heaven will be like ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom.

25:2 Five of them were foolish, and five were wise.

25:3 Those who were foolish, when they took their lamps, took no oil with them,

25:4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

25:5 Now while the bridegroom delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

25:6 But at midnight there was a cry, 'Behold! The bridegroom is coming! Come out to meet him!'

25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.{The end of the wick of an oil lamp needs to be cut off periodically to avoid having it become clogged with carbon deposits. The wick height is also adjusted so that the flame burns evenly and gives good light without producing a lot of smoke.}

25:8 The foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'

25:9 But the wise answered, saying, 'What if there isn't enough for us and you? You go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'

25:10 While they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

25:11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us.'

25:12 But he answered, 'Most certainly I tell you, I don't know you.'

25:13 Watch therefore, for you don't know the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
