"THE ROLE OF HUMAN RIGHTS IN THE REBIRTH OF SODOM"

Human Rights And America’s Plunge

Into the Spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah

In one generation, unbridled human rights have carried us back to the spirit and times of Sodom and Gomorrah.

(God) condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction

by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example

to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter.   (II Peter 2:6)

The nations are warned of the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah in sixteen separate books of the Bible. This is a fundamental Judeo-Christian moral stand. Yet:

Our Senate’s Vote Opened the Door for the California Supreme Court’s Action

The marriage amendment to protect the family fell short of passing for a second time in the U.S. Senate in June of ‘06.

The vote was portrayed in the media as a rejection of the “gay marriage ban” and a victory for human rights.

If the senate had passed the marriage amendment the California Supreme Court would not now have decreed that homosexual marriage is constitutionally protected.

Incredibly, we have put our trust in leaders that are so morally corrupt they do not even know how to define the family.

The Definition of the Family

The family is a relationship that is entered into by birth, marriage, or adoption.  In turn, marriage is between one man and one woman.

The family is at the heart of all kinsman-based relationships. This means the family is a blood-based set of relationships.  The family exists because of procreation and is a fundamental component of procreation.

All humans come into existence by kinsman principles that are rooted in our biological design. This means the family is a genetic-based set of relationships.

In turn, the human order is a kinsman order.

If the above definition is offensive to you it is because you have been so secularized by the human rights doctrine you cannot see the kinsman basis of human relationships.

All secular (so-called inclusive) attempts at re-defining the family violate the true nature of the kinsman relationships that are inherent to, and even give rise to, the family order.

Our Redemption is Rooted in the Family Order

Most Christians do not realize that it is through kinsman principles that we as Christians have our hope of heaven.

The family provided the legal means by which Jesus was able to represent us before the bar of justice.  He was born into the high office of the Kinsman-Redeemer. The title of the Savior is the highest kinsman title.

This means that Jesus was more than a substitute.  He held a family office that enabled him to be our kinsman representative before the high court.

Like mankind, the angels are accountable to holiness, but unlike mankind, they do not have family relationships.  In turn, they have no hope of redemption.  They have no family office by which they can be legally represented (Hebrews 2:16).

In contrast, when humans trust in what Jesus has done for us as our kinsman representative, we are adopted into His spiritual family and promised eternal life with Him.

The Blind Leading the Blind

Because of the rise of the twisted ethic of human rights, our senate cannot embrace an ancient, biological, world-wide, and biblically-based definition of the family.

The so-called victory for human rights over the family is, in truth, a moral twist that attempts to turn the final stage of godlessness into a high moral cause.

Yet, Christians still do not see the heart of the battle. It is far past time that we see the true nature of the doctrine of human rights. It turns moral truth upon its head.

Human Rights has Overthrown Holiness in America

Human rights is a doctrine that overthrows holiness in the hearts of everyone that embrace this pseudo-morality.

The Senate vote should clearly reveal to the church that our congress is dominated by men bound to an evil doctrine—morally twisted, being deceived and deceiving.

Stated as clearly as possible: The problem in America is that our congress and courts are bound by the satanic doctrine of human rights.

This moral perversion reaches to our own town.  When the vote was taken in the senate our county newspaper printed a political cartoon mocking the marriage amendment.

So What is America’s Greatest Sin?

America’s greatest sin, however, is not to be found in our constitution, our congress or the media. It is to be found in the church.

Of all the institutions on earth, the church should understand and stand up for holiness in all its purity—but it does not. A holy church would stand up and the nation would be healed.

The church should see that there is no moral principle besides holiness by which we can judge between right and wrong. This is basic biblical doctrine. Instead we continue to proclaim the Christian origin and glory of a barbarian ethic.

Wake up! Look around you and see! Human rights is at war with holiness!

Tragically, the church continues to retain its faith in this satanic doctrine—while holiness is crushed all around us.

This is the great sin of America.  It is the sin of a morally blind church.  It is the sin of a misplaced faith in an evil ethic.  It is idolatry.

All of our churches have the spirit of Lot. We live in Sodom and, like Lot, have no impact on the direction of our culture. As a result, we are reaping the loss of our civilization.

Confessing the Great Sin of Our Nation:

Founding Our Constitution on the Ethic of Human Rights Instead of Holiness

There have been untold billions of prayers asking God to heal our land. No doubt you have prayed numerous times for God to do so.

But there is no healing of the nation because we have replaced holiness with human rights—and we have not repented of this great sin.

Human rights is the means by which constitutional protection has been extended to base sensuality, pornography, homosexuality, abortion, forced secularism, the breaking of the family unit, and all other manner of wickedness.

Our Wrong Frame of Reference

These decisions are flawed because the Supreme Court has a wrong frame of reference for deciding between good and evil.

Abortion rights, pornographic rights, and homosexual rights are all the consequence of our courts applying the doctrine of human rights—a satanic doctrine they are sworn to uphold.

When human rights becomes the doctrine at the basis of a society’s morality, the society’s sense of right and wrong deteriorates to such a point that people do not even know the difference between diversity and depravity.

Americans are now defending sexual depravity as if it is a healthy manifestation of cultural diversity. They believe that homosexual rights, including the insanity of homosexual marriage, must be granted constitutional protection.

Tolerance of Evil Has Become a Moral Imperative

Tolerance of diversity is now the standard. Those that propound this doctrine act with indignation toward Christians.

The process has reached the point that those furthering the cause of evil see themselves as being on the higher moral ground!  This is why human rights is ultimately an anti-ethic.

Incredibly, we are now being legally required to tolerate evil, and are being chastised for resisting evil.

But tolerance of evil is not an indication of moral character—it is the opposite of moral character.

The Only Way to Reveal Moral Character is by the Intolerance of Evil

Moral character is only found in intolerance for evil (Revelation 2:2). Moral character demands that we have the backbone to stand up and act against all forms of evil. Otherwise we are doing nothing but providing lip service to character.  No one has ever found another way to measure moral character.

But we have become so morally degenerate that millions now ignorantly support the anti-morality—thinking it is moral.  This means our society cannot discern between good and evil.

Americans no longer know that all people and all nations are accountable to God for holiness at all times and in all ways.

Each deceptive doctrine first appears to be a message of light, but by its fruit you will know its spirit (Matthew 7:15-20).

The Supreme Court Cannot Even Define Pornography

The situation has gotten so bad that the Supreme Court has decreed that it cannot define pornography.

In contrast, Christians have a clear and simple definition:

Pornography is that which intentionally arouses

sexual desire that cannot be righteously fulfilled.

The Church Remains Spiritually Blind

The church sees that there is a problem.  But at the same time, the church cannot see the cause of the problem.

Despite the great cultural pressure that long ago should have forced the church into a position to see, it remains morally blind and stunted.

As extreme as the struggle has become, the church still has not identified the root sin that is causing the grave moral problems in our nation.

Tragically, if the church does not identify the root sin, the church cannot confess the sin. As things stand, the church cannot repent for itself, much less for the nation.

This is why God does not heal the land.  This is why America remains in a spiritual free-fall.

All the while, the social battle movers further and further to the so-called left, pulling the nation down into a moral abyss from which it will not recover.

There will be no healing unless this great sin is confessed, and you are the one that must do the confessing.

To do so, however, your worldview must be transformed. In one sense, you must become a true citizen of the Kingdom. You must receive a heart for true justice.

Stopping the Moral Slide

If human rights is the problem, what can we do to stop the moral slide? This the great question the church is not asking.

You must ask this question now and you must answer it correctly if there is to be a healing.

The right answer is that all judges in all nations are accountable to holiness at all times and in all ways.

You may be asking, “What does this mean? How is a judge to use holiness in his decisions?

The Spirit of Holiness

Holiness is a state of being.  To be holy is to be pure—innocent in all you say and do, having no hidden motives, wronging no one.

It is to be as openhearted as a little child and as transparent in motive as the crystal sea before the throne of God (Revelation 4).

This is the character of God and the spirit of little children.  Holiness brings forth righteousness in the land.  This means that righteousness is the expression of holiness in relationships.

True holiness will set you apart for the Lord.  Holiness will separate you and the nation from wickedness.

If our courts will even considered the concept of purity in their decisions, then there will be no abortion, no pornography, and no justification of homosexual behavior in the land. Divorce will become next to non-existent again.

But What is Purity?

Purity is as simple and easy to see as the innocence of a little child—which is known by all, and which gives testimony in the heart of all.

No pornographic affection or act can ever meet this simple and just standard.  No one in his right mind can truly mock at the justness of purity, or the purity of true justice.

You are to be holy as God is holy.  When you are holy, you are just.  Holiness brings you into His presence, which is a state of being. You must be born again in order to see this (John 3:1-21).

The One Basis for All Relationships

Holiness is the moral foundation for all relationships and it is the only valid basis for justice.

It is the one and only character-based ethic. There simply is no alternative in all of existence. The Lord has created things this way and no one can overcome Him.

Our legal ethic must be rooted in the character of God, because God is the only basis for true for our character. We are made in the image of God.

This means that we are to govern all of our relationships by the same principle God uses to govern His relationships.

Just as we relate to God by holiness, so also are we to relate to each other by holiness. This is at all levels of all relationships—in the home, at work, with the government and even between governments.

There are no alternatives—not yesterday, not now, and not forever.

The Only Truly Self-Evident Justice

This is really very simple and the only truly self-evident justice. It is so simple we overlook it.

We have not realized that holiness is so comprehensive it can be linked—and should be linked—to all human behavior in all human relationships.

This means that holiness is the only valid moral standard for all peoples, at all times, and in all relationships. It is the one true standard in heaven and on earth—for individuals, for the church, and for the nations.

Does This Seem Impossible to You?

Does this seem hard or harsh to you? If it does, it is only because holiness is so foreign to you.  The Lord is gentle, and lowly of heart.  He exercises goodwill toward mankind.  His intent for you is good, and not for evil.

Holiness is not hard, for holiness gives its testimony in the spirit of little children.  It is the way of the Kingdom of God (Matthew 18).

All other ethics are rooted in the rejection of holiness, whether their adherents realize this rejection or not. To laugh at holiness is to laugh at God. To reject holiness is to reject God.

Our Judges Will Answer to God’s Court for Holiness, not Human Rights

When our nation answers to God in His court He will call the judges before His throne.

God will not ask our judges how well they defended human rights in making their decisions. He will ask how purely they pursued holiness in all things.

Otherwise, God cannot judge our nation or any other nation. If there is not one true standard for all, then there is no means by which God can hold all accountable.

God will hold all nations accountable to holiness. He will not use or recognize the transient alternatives to holiness that rise and fall as the nations rise and fall in their rebellion (see Isaiah 42).

Human Rights is Truly Characterless

Human rights is not even a character based ethic. This is why immorality is protected in our courts.

Human rights and holiness are two opposing doctrines about the moral basis of human relationships and about our obligation to society.

Holiness has vanished from America’s consciousness. Human rights is the means by which holiness has been removed.

Most people do not even know that they are accountable to holiness. They do not know what holiness is—and because of their worldview, they cannot even conceive of holiness.

We must confess that we have allowed ourselves to be deceived. We have embraced a false worldview that has now given rebirth to the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah on an immense scale.

The church does not understand the comprehensiveness and the universality of holiness. It does not know that holiness is to be applied to all relationships, in all levels of society, which includes all levels of all governments.

Yet, this is at the heart of the Gospel. Unless we accept the holiness that Christ exercised on our behalf, and applies to our accounts when we are born again, we have no hope of eternal life.

This is the Gospel of the Kingdom

Holiness is at the heart of the Gospel of the Kingdom. This is the essence of the Gospel of the Kingdom: All people and all nations are accountable to holiness at all times.

And this gospel of the Kingdom shall be preached to all nations

then the end shall come (Matthew 24).

In the end, human rights outlaws holiness.  The fruit of human rights is ripening into the spirit of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Yet, the church, because of its loyalty to this satanic doctrine, cannot see what is pain before its eyes. The church remains spiritually poor, blind, miserable, and naked.  In a prophetic fulfillment, it manifests the spirit of the Laodicean church revealed in Revelation chapter three.

A False World View

The blindness of the church is why so many Americans have been persuaded by the arguments of the court that it is morally wrong to have prayer in public schools, or that it is wrong to stand for purity against abortion rights, or that it is wrong to stop pornographic producers.

Yet, as noted, tolerance of evil is not a true moral standard—only holiness is.

Sadly, even the church is America has fallen prey to the root of this secular lie. Our church lives the life of a split and broken personality. This is why the church is made impotent and cannot bring healing to the land.

The church must see and confront our national sin. We must confess and forsake it. Then we must fully embrace holiness.

The Gospel of the Kingdom must be preached in every pulpit. Only then will we have a true foundation with which to call our courts to submission to the ways of God.  Only then can we be true salt and bring healing to our land.

Why is this Sin So Critical

The one essential purpose of government is to do justice.  Government exists only in the realm of ideas.  It is an idea about how we ought to manage our relationships with one another.

This means that governing is the application in society of beliefs about what is right or wrong.

Ultimately, government is nothing more—and nothing less—than institutionalized ethics.

Our governing ethic is now at war with a holy God. This is why our nation is in the state that it is in and why our national sin of replacing holiness with the doctrine of human rights is so critical.

Time of Confessing the Sin of the Nation

Now you must take the step to confess our national sin.

You can do so in prayer.  First read over the following prayer, then pray it to the Lord:

Heavenly Father,

I come before You to confess the deepest sin of the nation.

Our nation has cast down holiness and replaced it with human rights. As a result, our courts have justified all manner of evil.

In turn, congress and our judges are blindly leading us down the path to the sudden judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah.

O Lord, cleans our nation of all of these evils.

O Lord, bring a true national revival.  Let holiness burst forth in our land. Let our courts turn to holiness and begin to judge rightly.

O Lord, please remove the spirit of Lot from the church. Let your church repent across this land and confess our national sin.

Let the church become zealous for holiness.

And as for me, I want to be born again by the work of Your Spirit in my heart.

Let the purity of Your holiness replace the false doctrine of human rights in my heart.

I make this confession and this request, in the sweet name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

              Amen

“Oh Lord, holiness is what makes
Your house beautiful for days without end.”

God’s holiness is the means by which living in His house will always be a joy for us.
