I enjoyed the article written by Pastor Riley. Truly we are getting very close to the end of the present age. I do have a few questions about the calendar insights. On the Hebrew calendar Pentecost (Shavuot) falls on 6th Sivan. This year that is Monday June 9th. The week before that is Jerusalem Day (Yom Yerushalayim) celebrating the reunification of Jerusalem during the six day war. On the Hebrew calendar that is 28th Iyyar. So we see that the 40th year after the capture of Jerusalem runs out a week before Shavuot. That presents a problem for the author's case. Does God use an Gentile or Hebrew calendar? Also I would mention that the 33rd day of counting the Omer (Lag B'Omer) is Friday May 23 this year. It does not fall on Pentecost in any year but rather precedes it. Regards, Hal
