""Evolution's Critics" ... Expelled/Censored"

These two posts below, posted a few days ago at a Toronto Home School
forum discussing the movie 'Expelled' ... have not made it past the
censors their ... so I thought you all may like to see it ?

Someone had mentioned the role of faith in our knowledge ...

(1)

The word faith can take many shades of meaning in common useage ...

A good place to start is the ancient actual historical one ... Abraham
believed that God would actually do what Abraham claimed that God told
him that He would do ... so Abraham records that God counted this for
Abraham, (and Abraham, for this), as 'righteous'.

Now the historical record shows that Israel is again a nation, and
amid all the trouble that was foretold at this another 'end time' ...
before Israel's redemption again, as a nation.

So ... let's see what will happen next? Will the promises told to
Abraham, and to his children of 'faith' ...i.e. those who believe what
he was told, ... come to pass?

So far, the track record is pretty good.

We may choose, based on the evidence of the track record ... to obtain
the outcome based on our choice.

The same holds true for all good science ... we get the actual outcome
of the experiment.

So we need to examine the evidence of all related experiments before
we proceed ... for good ... or not so good outcomes.

Is there not abundant evidence that everything that was made had some
maker? Even a child can easily classify 'animal, mineral, vegetable'
... or manufactured.

Shalom shalom,

David

I hope you find this article related and helpful ....

It was a recent reply to a question asked about the cancer causing risk of ...

> Do you know if propylene glycol and sodium larueth in soap is cancerous?
> This guy named Kevin Trudeau has written a book on chemicals in practically
> everthing. All is cancerous he says. He is fighting continuously with the fda.

Chemistry is a very big subject area ...

We can know from God's Word that He made and gives us our daily
bread/food ... Everything He made is good ... good for its God
intended purpose.

One thing that has concerned me for years, is this: (also see 'P.S.' below.)

Chirality or "handedness", (One of the greatest evidences for Creation
of plants and all living things.)

Propylene glycol contains an asymmetrical carbon atom, so it exists in
two stereoisomers. The *commercial* product is a racemic mixture.
(Living things do not produce racemic mixtures ... so the body may not
be able to properly handle 1/2 the amount. Just a few months ago I
read an article that pointed to this racemic mixture as the problem
that produced the birth defects with thalidomide ... that otherwise
... may? not have happened.)

Our skin protects us from chemicals in the everyday natural
environment ... when some of these chemicals are concentrated or
*modified* to racemic mixtures by commercial processes ... or new
chemicals are synthesized that we do not normally encounter ... we are
in uncharted territory until maybe a few generations of human use
gives data ... and then it could be too late for those people who were
used to supply the data.

P.S.

Handedness: Left and Right

An object or a system is called chiral if it differs from its mirror
image such that its mirror image cannot be superposed on the original
object. A chiral object and its mirror image are called enantiomorphs
(Greek opposite forms) or, when referring to molecules, enantiomers.

Genetic material, DNA and RNA, is composed of nucleotides. I n living
things, nucleotides are always "right-handed." (They are called
right-handed, because a beam of polarized light passing through them
rotates like a right-handed screw.) Nucleotides rarely form outside
life, but when they do, half are left-handed, and half are
right-handed. If the first nucleotides formed by natural processes,
they would have "mixed-handedness" and therefore could not evolve
life's genetic material. In fact, "mixed" genetic material cannot even
copy itself.

Each type of amino acid, when found in nonliving material or when
synthesized in the laboratory, comes in two chemically equivalent
forms. Half are right-handed, and half are left-handed—mirror images
of each other. However, amino acids in life, including plants,
animals, bacteria, molds, and even viruses, are essentially all
left-handed.

No known natural process can isolate either the left-handed or
right-handed variety. The mathematical probability that chance
processes could produce merely one tiny protein molecule with only
left-handed amino acids is virtually zero.

A similar observation can be made for a special class of organic
compounds called sugars. In living systems, sugars are all
right-handed. Based on our present understanding, natural processes
produce equal proportions of left-handed and right-handed sugars.
Because sugars in living things are right-handed, random natural
processes apparently did not produce life.

If any living thing took in (or ate) amino acids or sugars with the
wrong handedness, the organism's body could not process it. Such food
would be useless, if not harmful.

This 'handedness' in chemistry is perhaps one of the least known and
biggest 'cover-ups' these days ... perhaps because its more prominent
acknowledgement would tend to crush the possibility of evolution
producing any present living thing.

Also ... it could be that the PTB, who in Global 2000, have declared
their intent to reduce the population ... are profiteering, while we
self destruct.

About cancers ... anything that tends to clog or weaken or to
inflame/irritate our immune system is something for restricted
exposure ... if possible.
