Quite a few years ago, for three years in a row I had a Robinbeat himself silly trying to get into one of my windows...Every spring this Robin would show up and do the same thing...He/She Robin would be tattered and bruised looking tryingto fly in my window on the side of the house....I tried everything... closing the curtain, putting pictures ofowls on the inside of the window, standing infront of thewindow... but poor robin was losing a few feathers and lookedvery frustrated...I asked God why?.... Why was this Robin struggling so hard tryingto enter my house... Lord if this Robin knew what was in myhouse it surely wouldn't want to come in.... Lord! How long isthis Robin going to beat itself to death trying to get in mywindow where it doesn't belong inside my house? The Lord answered right away..... "Until you understand whatI am trying to say to you.".... What Lord You are speaking to meby this poor Robin smashing itself against my window?....Yes, Lord, speak to me.. I want to hear and understand...."You are trying to go somewhere and the way seems blocked for....If you knew what was on the other side of where youwere trying to go.... you would not really find what you want...it is not the place you are suppose to be or go... but you keep runninginto that "closed window"(door) and you are getting frustratedand tired and beat up trying to enter in to that which I haveclosed off to you. So you are like that poor Robin getting tiredfrustrated beat up.... Stop and turn around and go where I want youto go and be.... I have a place for you."Wow!!! A Rhema Word for sure.... Ok Lord, help me find that placeyou want for me.... I'm ready to go.... will you please straighten outmy ruffled feathers for me too.Don Best
