"WILL OUR PETS GO TO HEAVEN WITH US?"

WILL OUR PETS GO TO HEAVEN WITH US?

This has worried me greatly.  I love my little Lhasa Apso so much, he is like my child!  It would be too cruel to leave him behind at the rapture, locked up in my house to starve to death.  I cannot believe that our loving Heavenly Father would allow that, and not give us all things that will make us happy in heaven, and that includes having our beloved pets with us.  I have received no leading from the Lord that I should prepare to take make arrangements for Chester after the Rapture.

Here are some scriptures to support our pets going to heaven with us.

In Revelation 19:11-14, Jesus and all His saints will ride out of Heaven on HORSES.   If there are horses, why not dogs and cats, lions and tigers?  (Winking at John!)

Some people say, “Animals won’t go to heaven because they have no SOULS.”   Job 12:10 “In his hand is the SOUL of every CREATURE and the breath of all mankind.”  [I knew it!  My Chester is a PERSON wearing a dog suit!]

Psalm 36:6  “O Lord, you preserve BOTH man and BEAST.”

What happens at the rapture, when we are translated into our glorified bodies?

Romans 8:19 “The CREATION waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.  (20) For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope (21) that the CREATION ITSELF WILL BE LIBERATED FROM ITS BONDAGE TO DECAY AND BROUGHT INTO THE GLORIOUS FREEDOM OF THE CHILDREN OF GOD.”

If our pets will be “liberated from [their] bondage to decay”, that means they will never die.  believe that means they will be with us in Heaven.

One day, when I was praying about this, the Lord said to me, “Your righteousness spills over onto Chester”, and I saw a vision of what looked like a blue AURA covering me, and “spilling over” and covering my dog next to me.  Another time in prayer about Chester and the Rapture, I had a vision of him vanishing; he disappeared “in the twinkle of an eye”!

Acts16:31  “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, - YOU AND ALL YOUR HOUSEHOLD.”

God knows how much we love our pets; they are members of our FAMILY; they are like our children.  In 2 Samuel 12:1-6, God sent the prophet Nathan to confront King David of his sin of adultery when he stole Bathsheba away from her husband, Uriah, and had him killed.  Nathan used the example of a “... poor man [who] had nothing except one little ewe lamb he had bought.  He raised it, and it grew up and even slept in his arms.  It was like a daughter to him.”  God shows His understanding of how much we love our pets, and He shows us His mercy and justice.  God knows our hearts!

Note to Bruce Wagner:  When we leave a note for the survivors that are left behind, we probably shouldn’t use the word “rapture”, as they won’t know what that means.   I have already told a close friend whom I doubt will be taken up in the Raptureand asked him to immediately come to our home and look for Chester, if everyone suddenly disappears, and to take all the food and money stored in our house.  He's going to need it!
