Rene, I've never heard of such a thing as a common odor among Lhasa Apso's. I now own my 5th Lhasa, and I think they are remarkably ODOR-FREE. They have HAIR, not FUR, and shed very little. I can't think of anything else if Gypsy has been checked by a vet. Any other situations, like bad teeth? Skin allergies? I'm sure the vet would have caught that.My only other idea is, dogs sweat with their footpads and their noses. If I keep my dog's feet washed frequently (even a daily rinse), that keeps odor down quite a bit. I also use "Wet Ones" wipes on Chester every time he comes into the house after doing his business outside. I wipe off his tummy area, so he won't be down there cleaning himself, and doesn't get that yucky odor all over his face. It has made a great improvement, just using Wet Ones.
