IF THE NUMBER '8' INDICATES A 'NEW BEGINNING' AS FM RILEY SAYS IT DOES IN HIS LETTER TITLED '2008'

 

And I like his way of thinking! Consider that this year 2008 is also the Biblical Year 5768. We should certainly be 'looking up' for a 'New Beginning' this year!

 

I believe that this year (2008) (5768) is also the Biblical Sabbath Year #42 in a set of a set of 7 X 7 = 49 years. The Biblical Sabbath Year we are now living in (2008) (5768) began with the 'Feast of Trumpets' September 13, 2007 and WILL END on September 29, 2008 which is THE DAY BEFORE the next 'Feast of Trumpets' September 30,2008 which begins the next Biblical Year (2009) (5769).

 

Each 'Seventh Year' in every set of seven years is considered by God to be a 'Sabbath Year' which is set aside for Special Events and Special Occasions. Crops are not to be planted on those Special Sabbath Years, but rather the land is to lie fallow (or rested). I believe that this Biblical Sabbath Year (2008) (5768) certainly has some 'Special Event' or 'Special Occasion' in store for us who are "watchful and ready".
