Dear Doves,

 

WHEN JESUS SPEAKS TO US WE SHOULD PAY CLOSE ATTENTION

 

John 4:34-37

"My food SAID JESUS, is to do the Will of Him who sent Me and to finish His Work. Do you not say, FOUR MONTHS MORE and then the harvest? I TELL YOU OPEN YOUR EYES AND LOOK AT THE FIELDS! THEY ARE RIPE FOR HARVEST. Even NOW the Reaper draws His wages. Even NOW HE HARVESTS THE CROP FOR ETERNAL LIFE, so that the Sower and the Reaper may be glad together. Thus the saying, one sows and another reaps is true."

 

In this Scripture Jesus, in HIS OWN WORDS, is telling us that the 'conventional wisdom' thinks that the harvest (the rapture) should happen in the Fall of the year after "FOUR MONTHS MORE" of Summer, but He exclaims, "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest" (rapture) now. He then goes on to tell us, not once but twice, that "Even NOW THE REAPER (Jesus) DRAWS HIS WAGES" and " Even NOW HE (Jesus) HARVESTS THE CROP FOR ETERNAL LIFE" (His Church). When Jesus speaks we would do well to pay attention.

 

We may do well to take note that this year: 2008 - which I believe to be a Sabbath Year - the Fall 'Feast of Trumpets' is September 30, 2008, and EXACTLY FOUR MONTHS PRIOR is Ascension Day on May 29, 2008.

 

1 Thess 5:4

"But you, brothers, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS SO THAT THIS DAY SHOULD SURPRISE YOU LIKE A THIEF".

 

Be watchful and ready.
