Dear Doves,

 

ASCENSION DAY MAY 29, 2008 MAY VERY WELL BE THE DAY WE HAVE ALL BEEN LOOKING FORWARD TO

 

Acts 1:9-11

"After He said this, HE WAS TAKEN UP BEFORE THEIR VERY EYES, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky AS HE WAS GOING, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them Men of Galilee they said, Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, WHO HAS BEEN TAKEN FROM YOU INTO HEAVEN, WILL COME BACK IN THE SAME WAY YOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN".

 

Jesus who is the 'Head' of the 'Body of Christ' ascended to Heaven on Ascension Day to SHOW US THE WAY, but the Church who is the 'Body of Christ' was not yet ready for  its' appointed time. With the help of the Holy Spirit the Church would grow throughout the Church Age until its' appointed time came to be Raptured to Heaven. When "the full number of Gentiles has come in"  will be the appointed time for the 'Body of Christ' which is 'His Bride' to be Raptured.

 

It seems likely that the 'Body of Christ' (His church) would follow the 'Head of the Body' (Jesus), and be Raptured on Ascension Day just as Jesus Himself was. "He will come back in the same way you have seen Him go". 'Ascension' indicates a direction from Earth to Heaven, which is the direction the 'Body of Christ' will be going to Heaven on the Day of Rapture which could be May 29. 2008.
