"To Douglas Martin and all the Doves"
I hear you, brother. I am more broke right now than since I was in
college. I
am fotunate that our daughter is grown so it's just the two of
us. Last year,
I figured we could make it through July financially and
that would be it.
But, somehow through the Lord's provision, a job opened
up for me and we were
able to keep going. My wife hasn't been able to
find work for months and now
my job suddenly ended. Our savings are gone,
our health insurance has lapsed
and I may be able to pay June's mortgage
if we get our "stimulus check" from
the government. I've applied for
unemployment, but my former employer has
seen fit to try to contest it
even though they eliminated my position. I
don't think their ploy will
work, but..... The thing is, looking back it
appears everything has been
winding down for the past few years and is now
about finished. Great
timing!!
Here's how I'm looking at it -
HOPEFULLY, Jesus is coming for us about
the time our money runs out in a
couple of weeks. Otherwise, I'm looking
forward to seeing what He's got
planned for the next phase. Don't get me
wrong, I have firey darts of doubt,
etc. coming my way, but His Spirit
has kept me safe so far and I'm confident
that will continue come what
may. Keep looking to Jesus, He's got us
covered.
YBIC,
Brad
