10 Days to the Rapture
“Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: that seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.” Mark 4:11:12
These words from Jesus should tell us that parables and words in the Bible are not for everyone. They are given for people who are “within” to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God. The people who are within have received the free gift from God by being born-again into the Kingdom of God by the Holy Spirit of God.
The parable of the ten virgins is about preparing the people “within” to get themselves ready for the Rapture on the day that Pentecost has fully come. A day starts in Israel in the evening, people pass through the night of darkness while sleeping, and during the day, the day of Pentecost will have “fully” come. Many people who believe they are prepared for the Rapture will go out to meet Jesus when the two or three days of darkness fall upon the earth but many have not received the free gift from God as they have relied completely upon their own understanding and have not been “converted”.
So, the days of darkness will not be meaningful to everyone, in fact very few, because it will primarily be a sign for people who are prepared to be called by Jesus in the Rapture at the time of Pentecost.
The world will pass the darkness off on such as global warming or God calling the entire world to enter into a peace process. I do not see the absence of electricity or man made light as being absent during the darkness period. Lord only knows what the newspapers and TV will contribute as to the cause of the darkness. Life will continue on as before but things on the earth will begin to change for the worse dramatically. It will not be a good time to be alive, but the survivalists will still try.
So to those of us who believe in Jesus, it will be a very quite time of expectation and waiting as our work on earth will have been completed.From Brother Riley’s study we know that the time of the last two witnesses and the 144,000 will now take over.
