1 Cor 10:31 (17 May 2008)
"**The Blessed Hope is for children, too!!"

WOW, in all my years here at Doves I don’t think I’ve ever read a letter as cruel-hearted

& mean & lacking in biblical knowledge as Rick Hedrick’s letter on how all children will (may)

be left here ~ to be rounded up & “slaughtered”.

Folks, if anyone should be IN THE BIBLE -- reading & understanding it, it’s Christians!!

The Blessed Hope IS FOR CHILDREN, too!!!

If anyone believed what Rick was presented as the truth, I can see you being cast into fear &

then not even **WANTING** the rapture to happen!!  ~ who, in his/her right mind would want

to go on to heaven & leave very young kids on the earth to have to fend for themselves?

…“Sorry, Johnny ~ I’m SELFISH & interested only in what’s going to happen to MEEEEE!!”…

HOPE:  the happy anticipation of something good!!

It would not be hope if it did not include the children of believers [and most

likely all very young children];  and, it certainly would not be “blessed”!!

The children (under the age of accountability) of believers are under the authority of

their parents, who are under the authority of the Lord.  God would not take you away

from your innocent child only to give your child to the unbeliever .  This goes against

everything that is taught in the Bible.

1 Corinthians 7:14 says, "For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife,

and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children

unclean; but now are they holy."

Passover night, in Exodus 12, is a perfect picture of the Rapture.  All the first born inside

the house, where the blood was applied on the doorposts, were spared.  If they would have

chosen to go outside and not believe God's word, they too would have perished.  So they

were saved by believing & doing what they were told.  But the children, under the age of accountability, were spared because their parents applied the blood upon the doorposts

of the house (because the parents believed God's word).

And again, consider the Scripture I already presented here at Doves 2 days ago:

Folks, this IS the rapture!!  Joel 2:16
Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children

and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her

dressing room.

It says nothing specific about whether the children are children OF believers only ~

or of BOTH believers AND unbelievers.

Now, you’re going to have to do your own research (and praying) on that, as I cannot

really say one way or another.

But yes, there is an “age of accountability” which is really different for each child.

Proverbs 20:11
Even a child is known by his deeds, Whether what he does is pure and right.

I want to think that children under the AOA of unbelievers will be raptured, too ~ and

that this may be the catalyst as to why so many will come to faith DURING THE

TRIBULATION!!  …. When multitudes too numerous to count turn to Jesus….[Rev. 7]

It may well be b/c they just had their child/ren ripped out from them & they know this is

the only way they will ever be united again!!

Here’s a link that provides excellent information as well:

And a little insight by John MacArthur:  ~ I esp. like the part about David’s son (too young to

have made a decision for the Lord! ~ WENT TO  HEAVEN!!)

Now its my personal conviction, my personal belief that in the rapture every child that is

too young to have made a conscience, willful, rebellious, sinful rejection of Jesus Christ will

be taken to be with the Lord. I believe that it would be just the same if a little child died

before he reached that age; he would instantly go to be with the Lord. David’s little boy died

(2 Samuel), he says, "He cannot come to me but I shall go to him." He knew where he was; he

knew he was in the presence of God. I believe when the rapture happens all the little kids that

are under the age where they made a conscience, willful, sinful, rebellion against God, where

they willfully turned their back on him, I believe the Lord will just take them right with us.

You say do you believe that about the children of the unsaved parents? Yes, that’s just my

personal opinion cause the Bible doesn’t say.  http://www.biblebb.com/files/macqa/1301-A-5.htm

And remember friends at Doves:  the rapture is to be a COMFORT and a HOPE to us!! ~

not a FEAR and FRET ……  And dread and hyperventilating in worrying if young children

are going to be raptured!!

AMEN!!   Looks like all is good to go for a SOON RAPTURE!!   Be  COMFORTED in knowing

it IS soon!!

Reva

As also pointed out, unfortunately, children WILL be born during the tribulation & they will

miss out on the rapture, of course.  We should pray for them "NOW" & what they will have to go

through -- surely that is too heartbreaking to even think about.

Titus 2
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
The rapture is a blessed hope to the Christian. Watching for and expecting the rapture is a blessed hope that encourages a person to stay close to the Lord. A person watching daily for the rapture will go on with life but be constantly looking for the return of the Lord each day. This blessed hope also has a purifying effect. A person will not get caught up in worldliness or wrong things if he thinks His Lord could come back at any moment. ~ Alan Yusko

The **RAPTURE** will bring on simultaneous worldwide DISAPPEARANCES
.... it is soooo close now!!
