"Through the Looking Glass"

Doves,

In the movie, The Last Mimsy:

Loosely adapted from the acclaimed 1943 science fiction short story, Mimsy Were the Borogoves, by Lewis Padgett (the pseudonym of husband and wife team Henry Kuttner and C. L. Moore), The Last Mimzy is about a not-too-distant-future family with two children, Noah and Emma. Their lives are changed when they encounter a mysterious box containing strange devices, presumed to be toys. The story is framed by brief episodes taking place in a distant future, with most of the film's story presented as a flashback, or story-within-a-story.

The two children find this secret-box, with items that bring them special powers.  Noah becomes the architect that uses the Emma’s gifts to build a bridge to the future.

As the mystery unravels, it becomes apparent that previous attempts to build this bridge has failed.  Thus.. the Last Mimsy.  The children accomplish this great task by simply being children.  As the story unfolds, Emma follows the old story and peers through the “Looking Glass” and sees what must come.

Her tears brought into the future become what saves the human race.   She becomes the “mother” of us all.

I mentioned previously:

I noted something:  Where the Blazed Trail crosses the Boulevard

It appeared to me that it would take place on May 23 whatever it was I was seeing.  It appeared to be a junction between Heaven and Earth and therefore a transfer of power from Heaven to Earth.

Incidentally, last night I found that the Session Finally of the TV Series LOST is titled:

Through the Looking Glass

It airs on May 23.
