| Demographics
is a word we hear often here in
Israel
, to us it means the
balance between the populations of Jews and Arabs. The short of the story is if Jews
should ever become the minority here in
Israel
the
status of a Jewish State would be in serious jeopardy. With that in mind I've done some
number crunching and put it together with some logic, Jewish or
otherwise.
In the year
2000 there was 61,542 Jews who made Aliyah, last year that number dropped
to 19,267 and according to the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics there
are only 14,400 new immigrants (Aliyah) expected here this year, that is a
drop of
5,000
in
just one year. It is also being reported that
Israel
expects more
Jews will leave Israel 2007 than those who come to
Israel
as Aliyah meaning that for the first
time in the 59 years of
Israel
there will be a decline
in population rather than an increase. The only thing holding the count
up is the birth rate among the Jewish population.
What this says
to this Jew is that the greatest threat to the survival of
Israel
today is a population
decline rather than an increase. This also says that it fly's in the face of many Prophetic
Scripture or at least it seems to. But for those of us who know God through the Blood of
Yeshua we know that God cannot lie and that something really big is about
to happen to turn this trend around in a big way. For God did not reestablish the
Nation of Israel to see it destroyed, not this time. That is also not to say that God
could possibly be happy with the state of things in
Israel
today and He chastens those who He
loves and
Israel
is the Apple of His
Eye. Meaning that a giant
correction is on the way and the Hunters are about to be turned loose much
like they were in the 30's and 40's. Jews will come running for their lives.
But I've also
noticed something else happening in the Israeli Government, there seems to
be a real softening of harshness towards the many who want to make Aliyah
but have been turned away because of the Orthodox here in
Israel
will not accept
them. With the millions of
Jews in
New
York
not in any hurry to move here there seems to
be more attention given to other possibilities. The Bnei Menashe of northeastern
India
, they are
descendants from the lost tribes of
Israel
. There are hundreds of thousands of
those who are referred to as Marranos who prefer to be called Bnai Anousim
who were forced to convert to Catholicism during the time of the
Inquisition in
Spain
and
Portugal
. And during the Holocaust tens of
thousands of Jews hid their identity in places like
Poland
. If this Government would just
remove the restrictions there are hundreds of thousands of Jews waiting to
move here.
There is also
a move towards understanding that true Christianity is not the enemy of
the Jews but the best friend they have, along with the feeling we are
seeing the beginnings of what could be a revival of young Jews in
Israel
accepting Yeshua as
Messiah. And there are
hundreds of thousands of Messianic Jews waiting around the world for the
day that Israel will accept them, They are Zionist and great lovers of Israel, they want to fight in
the IDF and they will come with their children and not as a liability but
as business and professional people contributing to the welfare of
Israel. I've noticed that
when many speakers like Netanyahu and others come to the
US
these days they
speak as much to the Christian community as they do to the Jews because
they now realize the great potential of support
Israel
has there. There is in
fact a great number of Jews around the world who is waiting and ready to
make the move even under the threat of war.
With all the
corruption charges now in court against our Prime Minister and the
Winograd's Report due out tomorrow promising to sharply criticize Olmer,
Permetz and Halutz showing their total lack of Leadership and failure to
lead the country during the time of war last summer. Surely a new election
is on the way soon, and with the election we pray that there will be new
leaders who know the real threat is the lack of Jews moving to Israel and
open the doors to Messianic Jew as well as those who have suffered for so
long because they are Jewish and are denied entrance to their home,
Israel.
The one thing
I am certain of is something really big is about to happen, there will be
a war soon, either with
Iran
and the
US
. Or
with
Iran
,
Syria
, Hezbollah and
Israel
and not counting
out the possibility of
Egypt
joining in. Regardless of how it happens it
will be the Jews who will carry the blame in world opinion and
anti-Semitism will rise to the highest point ever, Jews will be running
for their lives and if we are not ready we will miss the greatest chance
anyone has ever had to bless Israel the Apple of God's eye. We have two boats now, one is only
a 40 footers and the other 60 footer, we need to buy a much larger one, we
have found several that would work for us, but we simply don't have the
money to buy and maintain a larger boat at this time. It is obvious to me and certainly
you as well that we have precious little time to prepare, and we need your
help now.
There is still
so much groundwork to be done in Turkey, Cyprus, the Greek Islands and in
Europe and all the above takes money, lots of money, we will do what we
can do with whatever we have, for we have no other goal than to be
obedient to God's call on our lives.
I have found
boats we can hopefully charter when the time comes but even that will
take large sums of money on a daily basis. For those who don't know what I am

If everyone
reading this who could give a thousand or more we would be purchasing the
larger boat within the next month and hopefully be ready for the ministry
God has called us to. It is
up to those who God has called to this Ministry for I am certain He has
spoken too many who are finding it hard to let go of the money. But soon we will find out that it
isn't money, it's only paper, worthless paper.
Pray for the
peace of
Jerusalem
