Due to TIGHT personal time constraints (3-hour/day, 500 miles/week drive to/from work, etc.), from now on, I will only be listing the FEATURE stories on Mondays Wednesdays & Fridays, though regular daily updated items will still appear on my Update page for Tuesdays and Thursdays. • South Africa: Weather breaks records - The icy weather of snow, hail and heavy rain that has swept across South Africa over the past few days has set 54 weather records. The South African Weather Service said 34 new records were set on Monday and another 20 yesterday. • Monster Asteroid to Hit the Earth in 2036 Spawns Earth Rescue Ideas - Russia’s Pulkovo Space Observatory estimates that on April 13, 2029, Apofiz-99942 (the inverted three 6s are not lost on the superstitious) will be at its closest distance to the Earth for 200 years. Apofiz (spelled Apophis in the West) will pass the Earth at a distance of 30,000 to 40,000 km. Whatever happens, the Earth will suffer from the effects of the close encounter with this asteroid.

EXCERPT:

Bishara was born to Palestinian-Christian parents in Nazareth, where he attended the Nazareth Baptist school before going on to attend Hebrew University in Jerusalem. In 1997, Bishara received a kidney transplant at the Jewish Hadassah Medical Center in a operation performed by Israeli doctors.

He demonstrated his gratitude by working actively to destroy the state that gave him so much.
