"TO Keith Dickerson - "Things I have been pondering over about the rapture and the Jewish people.""

Hi, Keith!

You are about Christians needing to love Israel!  I have a great article on this very subject on my Sharing – Christianity page.  It’s called “As a Christian do I have to be a Friend of Israel?”, and can be found here:

http://www.israeltoday.co.il/default.aspx?tabid=135&view=item&idx=1064

If the Lord chose Israel, and He also chose us, I’m going to LOVE Israel, it’s as simple as that!  He tells me that Israel is the “apple of His eye”… that’s good enough for me!  He chose to have His Son born in Israel… that’s more than good enough for me!  He will be touching down at His physical Second Coming on the Mount of Olives, again in Israel… good enough for me!  And, furthermore, if they are truly Born-Again Christians, the Holy Spirit breeds a love for Israel, and love for fellow man in general.

The same Spirit who gives us a natural love for Israel and the Jewish people, also keeps us from wanting to pursue evil.  If we are TRULY walking in the Spirit (which is a far sight different than claiming to “be a Christian”!), then our main goal is to make the Lord pleased with us and our lives, and if we ask Him to use us for His glory, however He sees fit, the Spirit will begin changing us from the inside-out, and make us into pleasing children.  Many “claim” to be Christians, but if their heart isn’t right, they will not make the First Fruits Rapture… sorry, but it’s true.  You can know them by their fruits.

Good points, brother!  Have a blessed day!

Your sister in Yahshua!
