• U.S. House seeks tighter U.S.-Israeli ballistic missile defenses - The United States House of Representatives has adopted a measure aimed at weaving closer U.S. and Israeli defenses against ballistic missiles of the type that could be fired by Iran.

Israel's Enemies -

• Jordan mulls merger with Palestinian Authority - paper - Jordan has proposed a plan for a Palestinian-Jordanian confederation, which calls for ending the occupation of Palestinian lands and their transfer under Amman's control, the Israeli daily Maariv reported Friday.

Jerusalem -

• Sovereignty has a price - A decade ago, at the start of the events marking the 30th anniversary of the liberation of Jerusalem, the city's mayor warned: "We are approaching the time of the decisive battle for the very heart of Jerusalem." And how did the mayor at the time, who went on to become acting prime minister and is now the prime minister, carry out that "decisive battle.

"Peace" Plan -

• Jordanian King concerned no solution for Mideast crisis - King Abdullah of Jordan told the British newspaper Times in an interview that "the world was losing hope for establishing peace in the Middle East and there is danger that a solution to the crisis between Israel and the Arab countries will never be found. "Creating a Palestinian state is becoming less realistic owing to the settlements and the separation fence.. The Palestinians will be left not with a state but with "Swiss cheese" – a territory full of holes," Abdullah said.

• TULSA, Oklahoma (AP) -- Child in day care dies after being bound with tape - A day care worker was being held Saturday in the death of a 2-year-old boy whose hands were bound and his mouth covered with masking tape, police said.

• Corpses sold for Chinese 'weddings of the dead' - Chinese police have arrested a corpse trader who killed six women so he could sell their bodies for superstitious "weddings of the dead". The Xinhua news agency said the man - only identified by the surname Song - was part of a network supplying "ghost brides" to families seeking afterlife spouses for their dead sons.

• Porn flowing into Christian bookstores - An online company providing books to hundreds of Christian bookstores throughout Canada and the United States promotes XXX-rated materials, occult titles, manuals on homosexuality and lesbianism and satanism, according to a center that monitors the industry.

• North America 'partnership' fast-tracked in border bill - The controversial "Secure Borders, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Reform Act of 2007," which would grant millions of illegal aliens the right to stay in the U.S. under certain conditions, contains provisions for the acceleration of the Security and Prosperity Partnership, a plan for North American economic and defense integration, WND has learned.

Mark of the Beast Precursor -

• Barcoding humans - "First we locate a prime spot," he said. "The next thing is to release the button that triggers the  injection mechanism, and that's it, the cargo's been delivered."

One World Government -

• Bilderberg: The ultimate conspiracy theory - In Yugoslavia, leading Serbs have blamed Bilderberg for triggering the war which led to the downfall of Slobodan Milosevic. Strange Earth Signs -

• The overcrowded ark - Humanity's choices are getting harder and fewer. The Earth's population has doubled since 1950 and consumption has risen even faster. There has to be a reckoning. For many people, it is here already. The few first-class passengers on the planet that is our Noah’s Ark are safe for now on the upper deck. It’s a very different story down below. How much longer can the rich keep their feet dry?
