I am requesting that this post which was posted in early January 2007 be posted again. I read Arliss’s post and was intrigued that our dreams had several similar themes….witnessing about the WORD of GOD to others, being “raptured” to God, and especially the HOLINESS theme.

Arliss let me know your thoughts. Thank you for sharing! What made you post that dream/vision now?

Please note my correction…in Rev. 4:8 the angels are seraphim (not cherubim) they cry “HOLY! HOLY! HOLY!” continually.

What I believe I saw in the vision was the bottom “wheels” of the cherubim beneath the throne of the LORD.

Also, the LORD passionately and very intensely loves His people (Jeremiah 31:3), those whom He foreknew before the foundation of the earth (Eph. 1:4).

If you draw near to Him with a humble heart, He will reveal Himself to you and manifest Himself to you in many beautiful and amazing ways.

“I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” -Jesus Christ (John 14:21)

The LORD's Day, December 31, 2006

Greetings, Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Be well in your spirit, friends. The LORD is in your midst. (Zeph. 3:17)

I write today to share with you what I believe the LORD showed to me in a dream last night. I share this with you today that you might be challenged in your own faith in new and exciting ways. Blessed be the name of the LORD!

It says in the WORD of God:

"I am the LORD; that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images." (Isaiah 42:8)

So with that, that which I share with you is for the LORD's glory not my own. For I am deeply aware of my sin, especially sins of my mouth, and of the sin of (God's) people. (Isaiah 6:5)

The time of this dream was shortly after 3:00 a.m. on 12/31/06:

I saw two people, a young man and a young woman, who did not know Jesus as LORD. They were engaged in a lively discussion about how they knew each other saying "I know you".

They were in a common suburban shopping area. I was there observing this. The woman suddenly was holding nativity scene in her hands. She and the man wanted to know more.

At this point we were all aware of each other's presence.

We heard a voice and I believe I repeated it to myself and to the couple, but we all three heard..."Search for the truth, GOD'S WORD, as hidden treasure. Search for the truth, God's WORD, as treasure."

Almost simultaneously the following things happened:

I saw their faces, especially the woman's, in amazement, as the WORD of God in the form of light, entered their lives, their beings.

There was a sudden powerful pull or rapture, into something beyond our present world and faculties. This was the last moment I was aware of the man and woman.

As soon as I felt this I was very fearful because the WORD of God was taking me to something that was outside of anything I had experienced before, and I sensed the LORD was going to show some part of His glory even before actually seeing it (Isaiah 42:9).

The scene before me that was a moment ago a suburban shopping area (common) in sepia tones, opened up from center and spread out like mist or curtain if you will. I was very aware of transient nature of our earth and earthly doings.

"But the day of the LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which heavens shall pass away with great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up." 2 Peter 3:10

For the following please refer to Ezekiel Chapter 1 to gain understanding.

I saw exactly what is described in Ezekiel 1:18. There was a dark blue midst like at night, within that was a high magnificent being covered with large eyes, I perceived rapid motion and whirring of wheels.

I heard it and saw it pulsing a combination of medium-high and high tonal frequencies. It was not in English or any language per se, but I knew it was crying out, "HOLY! HOLY! HOLY!"

The being had so much life within it, it definitely had shape and form! So amazing! I was trying to take it all in, when I quickly felt my heart racing with dread, for I am not like that being.

My breath felt as if it would fail me. So in mercy, the LORD closed the vision, and I awoke in my bed as my body regained composure. I prayed to God that He would keep me alive from this dream encounter. This all happened so quickly, I cannot really estimate the time frame.

I inquired the LORD in my heart and even whispered Scripture out loud.

What did I see? Cherubim, part of one, perhaps the bottom part of one.

I said this scripture, "Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD God Almighty, which was, and is and is to come." (Rev 4:8)

The beasts in Rev. 4:8 are also seraphim, I believe. That is their sole purpose to proclaim the holiness of God.

What are we as God's people to learn from this?:

Please make it your #1 priority to the love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Live by every WORD of God that proceeds from His mouth. Study the holiness of God. Learn what it means. Tell others the truth about the HOLY LORD ALMIGHTY- YAHWEH!
