http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/may2007/steveb517.htmHere's the quote:
"Many have been lied to, but there is no other Gospel that will secure your soul in a relationship with God for eternity, and if you have accepted any form of replacement theology it will send you directly to hell."
What is the Error?: Example: A person accepts Jesus Christ as their saviour, trusting Christ's finished work on the cross to save them. However, the person has only a limited understanding of all the doctrines in the Bible and believes in "replacement theology" - that unsaved Jews are going to hell and the nation of Israel has been replaced by the Church. Result: The Person is still saved. Salvation has nothing to do with one's understanding of all of these sometimes controversial and often deep doctrinal issues. Salvation is simple enough that any little child can be saved. Doctrinal issues require mature understanding of the scriptures: BUT DON'T AFFECT SALVATION.
So Jerry says that "replacement theology" will send a person to hell. Jerry is wrong wrong wrong. He is as wrong as he can be.
