I have seen so much speculation on this subject, with regards to the time frame, and length of the dead rising at the rapture, and then those remaining to follow.   I believe that there is approximately a time period of 2 seconds, perhaps 2.34 seconds of time between the dead in christ rising, and those that remain rising in the air to meet our Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe that nobody is going to see the dead in christ walking around this planet, and that the event will be swift and rapid, for anyone to ever know what is going on, except the Christian believers.   I believe those of us that remain will be following right behind the dead in christ within 2 seconds of time or perhaps even less.   It could be spontaneously, which the more likely scenario.
Anyways, thought I would share my 2 cents, since I have not really posted in over 2 years :)
