--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi:

May 14, Ascension Day, Iyar 26, 5767, has now passed. The Rapture might be Iyar 28 (May 16), when they took the Temple area. Surely the Rapture will be in 5767. The Six-Day War started Iyar 26, 5727. The 40th year is 5767. It will end Sept. 12, 2007. Sept. 13 is Tishri 1, 5768.

The Six-Day War had to be the Sign of the End of the Age. Israel was 19. When she was 20, she could no longer be called young. Mt. 24:32-34 says, "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender (apalos, young), and putteth forth leaves (West Bank, Gaza Strip, Golan Heights, Sinai), ye know that summer (June 21) is nigh (the Six-Day War began June 5): So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it ('the kingdom of God,' Luke 21:31) is near, even at the doors (symbol of the Raptures, Rev. 3:8). Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."

We have two figures for a generation, the 40 years Israel spent in the desert before going into the promised land and 48.33 years, according to Mt. 1:17. It seems that the first "trump of God" (I Thess. 4:16) could be in 40 years and the "last trump" (I Cor. 15:51-53) in 48.33 years. I hope we will know by May 24, Pentecost. Spring agrees with Song of Solomon 2:10-14.

We must stay ready and keep watching. Rev 3:3 says, "Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee."

My comments on "THE RAPTURE,"  By Arlen L. Chitwood, follow.

> > (Part 1)  this removal must be seen as one which will include all Christians, faithful and unfaithful alike (e.g., not only those having walked with God, as Enoch, but also those having involved themselves in the affairs of the world, as Lot).

Luke 12:46 says, "The lord of that servant (the unwise, i.e., the foolish virgin) will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder (lit., cut him off with the "sharp twoedged sword" of Rev. 1:16), and will appoint him HIS PORTION WITH THE UNBELIEVERS." That portion with the unbelievers is the Tribulation.

Mt. 24:51 adds, "And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him HIS PORTION WITH THE HYPOCRITES (pretenders): there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Those weeping and gnashing their teeth will be the foolish virgins. They could have gone with the Bridegroom (Christ) at the first Rapture, but they didn't have enough oil of the Holy Spirit to keep their lamps burning brightly.

> > (Part 1) The division of Christians relative to matters surrounding faithfulness or unfaithfulness, according to Scripture, occurs at the judgment seat following the removal of Christians from the earth, not by a supposed selective resurrection and/or rapture (a companion erroneous teaching pertaining to Christians going through the Tribulation [not all Christians in this case, but many]). And it is plain from the chronology of events set forth in the type in the Book of Ruth and in the antitype in the Book of Revelation (the same chronology is seen in both) that events surrounding the judgment seat must occur at the end of the present dispensation, preceding the Tribulation.

> > (Part 3) The widespread teaching that either all or part of the Church will remain on earth during the Tribulation has no basis whatsoever in Scripture. The Scriptures teach, unequivocally, that the complete Church -- all of the saved from the entire 2,000-year dispensation -- will be removed before the Tribulation begins; and that the complete Church will, at this time, appear before the judgment seat of Christ in heaven -- a judgment which, as previously seen, will apparently be completed before the Tribulation even begins on earth.

The Judgment Seat of Christ takes place on the Day of God's Wrath at the end of the shortened Great Tribulation. It is Coronation Day too, for it is the first day of Jesus' millennial rule. Every saint is present in Heaven at that time. Rev. 11:15-19 says, "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art (on the Day of the Lord), and wast (at the First Advent), and art to come (at the Second Advent 7 months future, Eze. 39:12,13); because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. And the nations were angry, and THY WRATH IS COME, and the time of the dead, that they should be JUDGED (at the Judgment Seat of Christ), and that thou ! shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an EARTHQUAKE (Eze. 38:20, Rev. 16:18), and great hail."

Re: the earthquake, Eze. 38:18-20 says, "And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in THE FIRE OF MY WRATH have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a GREAT SHAKING in the land of Israel; So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and ALL THE MEN THAT ARE UPON THE FACE OF THE EARTH, SHALL SHAKE at my presence, and the mountains (including the asteroids of Rev. 8:8-11) shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and EVERY WALL SHALL FALL to the ground."

Rev 16:17-19 says, "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and THERE WAS A GREAT EARTHQUAKE, SUCH AS WAS NOT SINCE MEN WERE UPON THE EARTH, SO MIGHTY AN EARTHQUAKE, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of HIS WRATH."
