"House Cleaning"
I am a friend of Marilyn Agee's and a Republican activist
specializing in election law. I occasionally read on this web site
but have never sent a letter.
About a month ago, I replaced the roof over my outside
deck, started re-arranging the downstairs and cleaning everything, down
to taking out-of-date cans out of the pantry and replacing with new items.
I've also given clothes to Goodwill. It seems important to have this
place in good order now. I'm one who thinks the rapture may happen
May 13-14, so why care what this place looks like or why canned food should
be fresh cans? Perhaps it is subconsciously not wanting to leave
unfinished business and to leave fresh staples for any family member who
might need to come here. I'm thinking that now since I read about
others cleaning. Before that, I just thought it was about time I
got my act together after neglecting this place during the busy election
season last year but that doesn't explain the necessity I feel to get it
finished quickly.
I'll keep cleaning and re-stocking food until I have
it the way I want it - whether it's for me or someone else.
