the Hand of God is at work.
 
I was saved about 30 years ago. Shortly after I was saved I prayed to God and asked Him to give me something to do for Him. Not long after that prayer I went to church and a man got up before the service and talked about a ministry he was in... it was the Gideons. He talked about the work Gideons do... they distribute bibles to hotels, motels, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, colleges, prisons, nursing homes, to the military... basically anywhere where people go and they do it in just about every country in the world. Since I was saved by reading the Word and believing  I decided that this was from God and  it was that  I wanted to do, distribute Bibles. So I  (along with my wife)have been doing that for close to 30 years. In the late 70's and early 80's I would go into PUBLIC SCHOOLS and I was treated like a conquering hero (hard to believe but is true), mostly I think because the kids got out of class. In those public schools students would go to the assembly hall and I would preach the Word of God to them then hand out a Gideon testament, the teachers would distribute them. Hard to believe but it is true. Today we are not allowed on school property and we stand on the street corners near the school and hand out Bibles.
 
At my most recent local chapter meeting (local chapters are called Camps) we were told that recently two camps were opened in China, one in Bejieng and one in Shanghai, which is odd because they still put Christians in jail in China. But the strangest news was that the Chinese government agreed to allow the Gideons to put bibles in the hotel rooms that will be used to house the visitors for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games to be held in China.I do not know why the Chinese government agreed to this or who they made the agreement with or what benefit the Chinese government will get out of the deal, but I do know that the Word of God states that "the kings heart is like channels of water in the Lords hand, He turns it wherever He wishes." (Proverbs 21:1)
 
When I heard this I was estatic, but the next thought to come to me that this could not be good for a 2007 rapture because I just don't think the Lord would pull us out with this kind of witnessing opportunity in 2008.
 
I hope I'm wrong and that everyone who has stated that the rapture occurs in 2007 is right, because I have been praying for the rapture for close to 30 years...every day.
