Recently I shared how Tex Armstrong's son, Travis, is such an outstanding young man and great athlete who loves Jesus so much.

Now I want to report his results in the recent Texas regional and state track meets.  Tex is too modest to brag (rare for a Texan), so let me do it for him. :)

1.  In the regionals, Travis won three gold medals, setting one record! 

2.  In the state-wide meet just completed, against the very top runners in the whole state of Texas, Travis won one gold and two silver medals!  Of the two races where he got the silver instead of the gold, coming in second, he lost by only a half step, and one of them was against the state champion.  The gold was the 4th fastest in Texas history!

See photos below of this fleet-footed young man.  Travis is a Christian example to all his peers.  He attends Colleyville Covenant Christian Academy.  Let us thank God for him and pray that God will continue to direct his steps.
