In the days of Noah, they eat, drank, maked there buisness and got marriaged, - and so is it now to, and so was it before, no big surprise in it.
But when we understand, that it was the only thing they did, living a Me, My-self and I-alone life with no place for others, and no respect for the Allmeigthy God, - because they only believe in them self, and not in The Great Creator.
 
In 120 years there were a different family among them, who believed in the Great Creator, and try to tell about Him, through there work on a Ark, who should bring them in safe, when God would judge the whole world, with a flood of water, - they only laugth of them. There is not so much water, - or: there is no vulcanoes in California, who can make this catastrophe !
 
Oh boy, who do they, or we, think the Great Creator is, can we not understand, that all is possible for God ? - but they would not even believe in Him !
So of course God did as He have said, - when the family and the animals have entered the Ark, He shut the door from the outside, - time were over, and the total destruction followed.
 
When we read the words: as in the days of Lot, we often forgot Abraham lived on this days to, -  where were he, and what happen to him ? - I think the Lord often want us think on that way, so the Holy Spirit can reveal it for us, when we ask. We may never forget, to just look at, listen to and follow the Lord alone, in obey, - He is our refugee !
 
Abraham were in his place, in Mamre, when the PARTIAL judgement fall on the evil Towns,
and the Lord told Abraham about the judgement just before it happen.
And He gave Abraham influence on the result, when Abraham asked the Lord about mercy for the righteouss, the Lord listen to Abraham, and accepted, if there were just ten.
 
Only the two Angels walked to Sodom-Gommorah, the Lord took place on His Judgement Seat, and Abraham staid on his safe place in Mamre.
We know what happen, - dont you think it affected Abraham ? - of course it did, - but he knew his place, when the Lord have spoken, - and he accepted the Lords rigth to make this judgement !
 
The Angels must drive Lot and his family out of the town, but even then, one died, - Lots wife could not get finish with Sodom, so she looked back and died, - cant we get finish with this world ? - if not, then let us remember - Lots wife !
 
In Genesis 19: 27-28.v. we can read how Abraham felt, and how he have slept that nigth to: Abraham got up early in the morning, to the place where he have stood before the Lord. - and when he looked, he saw that the Lord have acted as He have forwarned.
We know from the scripture, that when the Lord He react, it happen in hast, look in verse 22. - read the chapter for your self !
But what is the difference between the days of Lot and the days of Noah, - I think there is a lot - ( isnt that fun? ) - first of all, its the judgement, - on Noahs time it was the whole known world drowning in a flood of water, when the judgement fall in our time, it will start drowning all in a flood of sin, - and later in fire from Heaven etc. - and its the judgement of the whole earth.
 
With Lot it is the partial judgement of Towns, and it tells us, that the Lords judgement in our days, could start with first judgement, of evil countries or towns to, with fire or through great change in the nature.
 
But in both situations, the Lord hide the rigthousness, so let us allways look at, listen to, and follow our Great Sheperd, Lord and King, Jesus Christ, in obey, and let the Holy Spirit make us finish for Heaven. - Praise and love to Jesus Christ.
