Thanks for response sister, but if this is the explanation, that "Avalon" means US, - then the words "Avalon on fire" - "Avalon is burning" must mean - US on fire (attack ?) - US is burning ! - Lord dont forget your mercy, and take care of those who belong to you !
 
JFK, was very popular in My country to, and yes, I remember that tragic day he was killed, it was a great chock.
In my Home Town Aalborg, we have a place called John F. Kennedy Place, because my town every year, hold the 4th of July feast, in Rebild Hills south of the town, for the Danish-Americans, who comes home on vacation !
