I like to send you a quick photo I could take this morning from a great Circular Halo...:

The sun is hidden by the branches of a Laburnum Tree - the old poetic name for this yellow flowering tree is ‘golden chain tree’, or as we say here in Germany ‘Goldregen’, which literally means ‘Gold Rain’...

It was raining here last night, the very first time since an absolute unusual drought here in Europe

(in Britain the warmest April for nearly 350 years):

After 6 sunny weeks, really a ‘golden rain’ for farmers, gardeners and the thirsty nature...
